Intents and purposes aren't quite the same thing. For example you can intend for a square peg to fit into a round hole, however that is not the purpose of the square peg. You can intend to shoot a golf ball from a slingshot, also not the purpose of a golf ball.
1:31:45, the funny thing about this is that Solar said during the group nomination that Byun only know how to play 8-racks all-in these days and he kinda already prepared what to do against it. And he still died to it nevertheless.
Also, I feel that in game 1, Solar should have made more Viper instead of Lurker, LingBaneHydra can deal against Marines just fine if you can get rid of the tank support, and also damage the Medivac with Parasitic Bomb. 3 Viper with energy regen will just crush any tank push from Byun at that point.
Solar lost due to inability to keep calm and multi task in crisis, not due to army comp
@@jkkim6928 Unless you can set the army up like Serral, dont take bad fight. Delay until you have the tech advantage and crush him. Could Solar win with just what he had if he control them better? Yes. But could also Solar win with more Vipers instead of Lurker? Also yes.
Why did Nightmare only build stalkers in game 2 against DRG? I don't understand

Why Protoss rarely mix tempest to their ground army , not good to protect colossus from VI kings?
They sometimes do later in the game. But usually this is after colossus kinda fall off. You need to be incredibly greedy to get both early. Also much easier to zone them with stalkers or storm
Three reasons: Tempests are very expensive and low-damage, they require Stargate tech which is a different tech path from Robotics Bay tech (with separate air upgrades), and in a pitched battle the Vikings will just ignore them, focus down the Colossi, and the Tempests will get absolutely shredded by whatever is left on the ground + any remaining Vikings. For the price of a Tempest you could get another High Templar whose storms will do more damage to multiple Vikings than the Tempest will do all fight. Also 5 supply 😩

Tempests are best used for "poking" with Oracles, psi storm and Carriers in a Skytoss death ball. Get like 3-5 Tempests and chip away at Terran from afar; a Viking here, a turret there. The difference between here and Nightmare's situation is that with Skytoss, the Terran can't really pursue and punish Skytoss because storm + interceptor kiting + maybe Mothership will make pushing into that ball a Nightmare (pun kinda intended).
But if you try "poking" with Tempests in a Ground Protoss death ball, there is nothing to deter Terran from punishing the attack except storm... which Protoss had anyway, but now less of it because you blew several High Templars worth of gas on Tempests that you didn't need to. You see? Opportunity cost = way too high.
Suggest void rays to counter vikings next 😂

I swear to god storm is broken. I don't know why the European Protoss sleep on it so much. Koreans are doing pretty well with storm in PvT.

Really hate how emp makes Ht useless. They should have at least the same range as emp.
Did you not see the first Nightmare v Byun game? Byun got drenched by storms.
Nothing imba here, Byun adapted and Nightmare didn't. Also flying your full HT prism over Widow Mines isn't really EMP's fault 😂👍
GSL group "throw/matchfix". Why bother playing seriously in the group stage?
