Hello to everyone in 2023 and beyond, enjoying this amazing show that started it all. I remember watching this back in 2019 and I knew something amazing was coming our way

Your efforts and energy does not go unnoticed!
I'm right there with you! This whole set and few others have an energy and sound all of their own. I also REALLY wish they'd experiment and explore their dark side! A few songs have tickled it, like Silver Rising but I'd like to hear them really give it a go.
UA-cam randomly recommended this show to me sometime in 2019. I became obsessed after listening to the All I Need Jam. Going to my first Goose show tonight, so pumped!
LOTS of potential here. I think these guys will be monsters in a few years. Nice to see a young jam band that actually knows how to jam with each other!
I've been playing music professionally for 25 years man and these guys are solid musicians. Songs are well written, vocals are on point and the jams are organically executed. Vocals are in my opinion one of the best jam bands out there. Wish we had a scene out here in Los Angeles but not yet, still working on that. I'm from CT originally, was in a few jam bands out there in the 90's early 2000's. The Breakfast were the shit back then, I believe there in Kung Fu now.
Same.here I usually like jam bands at the show and occasionally at a get together. But I'm playing this daily. And I prefer there live sets over the album
Going back in time today...what an amazing experience that must've been walking into Peach...those crowd shots are great, this isn't a big area or stage-absolutely PACKED. Phenomenal
Holy Cow! I've watched this video like 10 times since i discovered it (about 4 days ago LOL). These jams are so organic... the flow and groove of their tunes is special, even in the Jam band world. Keep up the good work boys. ... and please come to Charlotte, NC!
actually was what made me a fan for life! I had just arrived at the peach and they were in the middle of The Way it Is. Talked with Pete after too and told him I loved his shirt. So thankful for the encounter
This has been played at m office at least 30 times over the past month. Have had several friends and clients ask who it is after hearing the greatness, best wishes to you gentlemen.
Tremendous weekend for Goose, they played so well and we're in the pocket the whole time. Probably my favorite new band in the last 2 years. Seen them 5 times now, well worth the 6 hour drives. Go see them asap. peace.
Rick absolutely kills the jam and the rest of the flock just tear it up right there with him. Killer rhythm from those 3 and I think now that Peter is one of my favorite musicians in a long time. Dude does a ton!
Notice the blown amp at 17:20! Nice job crew getting it replaced and nice job to the band holding it together- the lead guitarist just lost his amp. No big deal. And then he shreds!
I was listening to this for background music and was wondering what the guitarist must have been doing for that part. Now that I'm watching it, it is amazing that the band just kept on jamming and just played around it. And the solo he came in on was killer! Thanks for pointing that out.
Cool as a cucumber about the whole thing. What is interesting is that the Mesa amp that has the big SU in tape on it behind him looks to be the amp he normally uses. Not sure why he was plugged into that Fender in the first place.
As a young player I had an older musician friend who would have called this "endless noodling". Now that I have some miles on me I realize that he just couldn't improvise. First time I've been "Goosed" but I'm loving it.... makes me want to dance and / or jam along!
This set puts me right where I need to be whenever I miss live music. The solo at the end of 'Arcadia', cover of 'The Way It Is', and version of 'Hot Tea' get me pretty stoked! Cheers Goose!
Finally saw these dudes live in Knoxville last week. I love all these 2+ year old comments talking about the future they have in front of them. It's truly unfolding as we speak. This band is incredible live. Must see musicians.....
Had heard of Goose the past 2 years but had never taken the time to discover them as I should. I've listened to this set daily for 2 weeks now! It's pretty rare to come upon a younger group that has the ability to gel together this much this quickly. Very much looking forward to attending live shows and festivals in due time! The Way It Is was amazing!
Since when was jamming clean and dirrrty all at once? I think these guys deserve a few years of constant touring if not more. America needs more Goose.
This show is the first I'd ever seen or heard of them - and I'm glad that I found them (or that youtube recommended them). I've since watched and listened to this particular show (among many others) dozens of times and I never get tired of it!
I was at this festival (Peach 2019) and I discovered this band by accident/luck... tertiary stage, middle of the afternoon, middle of the weekend. Never heard them before that day, but I was captivated enough to stop and listen whilst wandering aimlessly. Awesome jam band for sure. These guys will definitely be on the main stage if we ever get another Peach
Not to toot my own horn, but I spent two days telling people to come to this set and the band did NOT disappoint…this set sent them directly to selling out major venues instead of small rock clubs that we were seeing them in before
just saw these guys at Playing in the Sand in Cancun... Freaking Fandamntastic !! Killed it at the pool til two am... everybody was moving ! Can't wait to see them again!!!
@paul b Got to 100% agree to disagree... Thought Dead & Co were especially good night 2 and think they are doing some reallllly good stuff. Night 3 drums/sapce/bass-keys was incredible and the Birdsong from I think night 1 was one of best ever... so.. again agree to disagree. sorry your not enjoying the lineup...
Wonderful band.. so happy I "stumbled" on them 3 years ago.. Summer of 2020, I was at a local nursery and "Time to Flee" was on the speakers.. I grabbed my iPhone and used SoundHound to ID the song and the rest is history. I love everything about them... guitar playing, keys, great harmonies, drummer is fantastic and Trevor is a killer bass player who knows where / how to play in the pocket and jam without being boring yet can rip as needed. He is perfect and I own 2 Modulus basses and love the Moddy love as well as the recent Elrick bass. Keep it coming goose.. we are all flocking to you..
Since my first experience in the Jam Band community at the Spectrum in 1995 I have seen 100s of shows and festivals, with 1,000s of hours under my belt. I didn't notice somehow, but I had slowly turned into a Jam-snob elitist style d-bag. If it was't either D&C/The Dead/Ratdog/P&Fs/The Otherones/Furthur, Phish, Panic, SCI, Moe., or Bisco I simply had no interest. I came to this set at Peach wanting to hate Goose. In short order I was just blown away by them, and humbled back to the universal truth that irrevocably changed me almost 30 years prior during Jerry's final visit to Philly. There is so much left to be seen, such wonder, virtually fantastical and infinite in scope. Never let go of curiosity, don't ever be a Dbag....
Damn, I walked by this set while getting a beer and had no idea who it was. Loved what I heard, ended up heading back to Greensky, who I also love, but I think I made a huge mistake. Count me in for future Goose shows!! Philly would welcome this kind of jamming with open arms, please come rage with us Goose!
Today is a win i dig their sound. Ive been listening to at least one band a day ive not listened to before and its fun and rewarding i recommend everyone try
First time listening. Nice solid vocal work by Goose. That's often a hit or miss with Jam bands. Overall high energy jams and tight songs, with a bright tempo Mississippi 1/2 Step, just like in '73 :-) From a producer's viewpoint, I'd ask if the second guitarist might try a model other than a semi-hollow PRS. It's a great sounding-playing guitar, but sometimes having a distinctly different tone from the primary guitarist is worth exploring. Goose is doing good work in the music world. Keep it going !
Toooo funny about the suggestion that the one guitar player should switch to a different type of guitar for "sound variations reasons". Only a non-player would make such a comment. Musicians play on instruments they enjoy playing on. You play your best when you are comfortable with the instrument in your hands.
@@chauntzu For sure, whatever instrument feels best to the performing musician is a great choice. And dueling PRS hollow bodies is very sweet. But it can also be sonically redundant while occupying the same frequencies in the mix. Any reasonable music producer would make mention of that if a band they are watching has two of the exact same guitars playing at once. Let's not have a snark-off about players and non-players, ok? Goose sounds great and are working hard for success.
Wow, guys, I'm liking what I'm hearing! I love good jam bands they embody what live music is about. This is reminiscent of early Pish mixed with SCI and a little WSP. Top-notch performance. Keep it up and keep it real!
anyone else listen to this at least once a week?
I just said to my friend that was there with me at Peach. I could watch this hundreds of times. =) .

Brand new to this band, but been around this music for decades. That MHS jam soars above and beyond anything I’ve heard in a while. What a gem.

Loving the restrained, elegant psychedelic jamming. This is just what we need. They know how to fly the spaceship.

Me: WHAT THE FUCKKKKKKKKKKK
blown away
literally
I agree don't know how but I found a band I love
This show is the first I'd ever seen or heard of them - and I'm glad that I found them (or that youtube recommended them). I've since watched and listened to this particular show (among many others) dozens of times and I never get tired of it!
I was at this festival (Peach 2019) and I discovered this band by accident/luck... tertiary stage, middle of the afternoon, middle of the weekend. Never heard them before that day, but I was captivated enough to stop and listen whilst wandering aimlessly. Awesome jam band for sure. These guys will definitely be on the main stage if we ever get another Peach
Gang Gang... get that hitter son 😉
I was at Peach Fest this year too. But who wasn’t there were a lot of people.
CT native here. While I'm sure the rest of the set is solid I've only listened to The Way It Is (good lord!)...Going to see them at The Cap.
Really digging these guys...Be great addition to my favorite music festival which is Hookahville. Held in spring and fall in Ohio.
Been to so many hookahvilles!
this comment aged poorly lol
Wow! Really diggin this. New fan after checking this out. Looking forward to hearing more. Cheers!
Gotta be honest, if in the thumbnail the guitarist and singer didn't have the stache I wouldn't even have tried this ! Lol. Wow glad I did .. nice
Not a massive jam band guy at all. This set being a musician blew my mind. A band at the absolute peak
@59:00 , Imagine getting your face melted off and not knowing the band you are seeing. What a wonderful 'holy shit' moment that must have been.
Guys, I can’t get Time to Flee out of my head.
Making Coffee. See you later Alligator
My first ever listening to them and goddamn it they just played Philly a few weeks ago. I’ll definitely be going to see them in 2023
the jams are so satiating
This is so fine. It takes a lot to get me to sit still and listen this long! And then do it again!
I could watch this video over and over...
This was a REALLY GOOD "day at the office"....I keep coming back to this vid.
THE GOOSE IS LOOSE!
You guys have incredible style. Mustaches and Hawaiian shirts...how can you beat that? To top it off you have been crushing lately. Keep it up!
Magnum vibes
The Goose rhythm/keys player is my twin brother.
Hair raising jams right here! Beautiful! 👍✌️🤯
Love it. Smooth vocals and tight grooves. I'll definitely be at the next show when y'all come to town!
Exactly!
Just like 73? LMAO. That missippi was bland and awful. Everything else was fine, but that Halfstep sounded like a chevy commercial.
The kind of guitars themselves don't make as much difference as the pickup selection and amp tone between the two.
Interestingly, PA did change up his rig to accommodate a split single coil guitar and the difference is noticeable. And amazing.
48:00 Mississippi 1/2 👞
1:08:48 The Way It Is
Best new music I've heard in a long time. Best of luck gents!
Oh, man, saving this in a playlist. Brilliant, and such a great amalgamation of perfect jam elements.
Wow, guys, I'm liking what I'm hearing! I love good jam bands they embody what live music is about. This is reminiscent of early Pish mixed with SCI and a little WSP. Top-notch performance. Keep it up and keep it real!
