- What's up Bros? Its OC time and we are continuing to enjoy this season. In todays episode, Katie has set her sights on Heather Dubrow, calling back to the paparazzi debacle last season. Jenn and Ryan take a trip to Vegas that has the other ladies continuing to question Jenn's financial decisions. We get a Coyote Ugly reenactment where Katie spills the paparazzi tea. Tamra is thrilled to have some tea on Heather as Katie continues to push this paparazzi thing. Johnny J, the Jan Man aka Captain Asshat John Janssen says Shannon owes him $75K. And things escalate when the group goes on a golf outing and Tamra lets slip to Heather that Katie is moving behind her back, although Katie claims that Heather was doing the same thing....

I dont think Johnny J is on the same level as Luis. Johnny J is probably a jerk, he was happy to let Shannon foot the bill and probably should have broken up with her long ago. I don't think he's broke at all I think he just smelled desperation from Shannon
Shanon offered to pay the $75,000 but asked for a no negative talk from EITHER of them but he said no. She wanted to settle it and pay it even if he wasn’t in the right because she knew that the legal fees would exceed that amount.
If you are Heather's friend she is a great & generous friend. I don't understand why anyone wants to take her down. Heather wins always. Katie made her next season on RHOC less of a chance

I hate Heather and I don’t even know her but her attitude and expressions just get on my nerves. I like her husband Terry on his plastic surgery show. But, Heather is just so annoying. Her claim to fame is doing a movie with Jenny McCarthy… who cares???
Rather than make a stink about the picture, they should pose together like Heather and Terry at multiple events. That would be funny

Hi! I love your recaps, but 8 have to say I enjoy them more with when you discuss an ensemble that is a mix of men and women... for this reason I'd love for you guys to recap the Below Deck shows! I love all Below Deck and one of the thing I love is that there is a natural remixing of the crew from season to season with a few staple people that return each season.
There's lots of drama with personalities that don't mix, lots of different things happening as each set of guest have different requests and are taken to different areas in the regions where they are sailing, and lots of light hearted antics and revelry happen among the crew as they do outrageous things to entertain guests and on there drunken evenings out between each charter.
All the captains return (each show has their own captain) and usually the Chief Stew is reoccurring and sometimes the Bosun is returning. Then you have the rest of the interior and exterior crew that are usually new to the show with varying degrees of experience/ incompetence at their jobs which is one of the major cause of drama.
Then there is the fact that the majority of the crew are in their 20's, so hook ups and flirtations gallore occur with drama as a result, and of course not all crew get along so there is that drama. Add rich guest who are sometimes lovely, but often demanding voila, you have the upstairs/downstairs drama of the rich and their help. All this has the captains at the centre addressing the mess when needed (sometimes even scolding guests and warning them of their charter ending if they can't get it together) but otherwise expecting their crew to figure it out. It's so much fun to watch.
And of course there is always the chef component, sometimes they are fun and add to the revelry, other times they are volatile and add to the tension and boat drama.
There have also been some very real near catastrophes in past seasons... on BD Sailing Yacht the Yacht nearly went aground because a green deck hand wasn't doing night watch properly, didn't notice that the wind picked up substantially and they started dragging anchor into shallow waters... on BD Australia a guest dropped while having dinner and had to be rushed to the hospital from the middle of the ocean where they were anchored for the night (he was okay, I think it was heart issues)... on a season of BD a boson had a rope wrap around his foot and drag him into the water just as they were departing, luckily a camera man was able to assist the crew in his rescue and he survived, as in he was very close to losing his life.
Please, please, please start doing recaps of the Below Decks shows, they are a lighter watch as there is lots of fun being had that's real (not people pretending to get along) and all of the drama is real (as in not dug up through bloggers, investing or exposing secrets). And really who can't relate to being a bit drunk, a bit inexperienced at a job and a bit immature in our dealing with conflict when we were on our 20's.
You've gotta do Below Deck recaps! Your senses of humor and your honest takes on human behavior would be so much fun to listen to recapping these show. I actually think you'd enjoy recapping these shows more than the RH or VPR.... maybe not the Valley, but give it a few years and you like BD more than the Valley too.

Supposedly, the guy that Katie texted, Georgio Takounakis, was on Kaitlin Marshall’s program. He said he felt thrown under the bus. He also said this was not Heather calling to have these (pictures) stages. He was on a tic toc with the Disney picture behind him.. I don’t know what that means exactly. I listened to his podcast and he joked that no professional would stage pictures in such a cheesy manor. But hopefully, I never hear about this f*#king picture again. 🤮

When Vicki was with Brooks,the whole cancer scandal was why she was axed.Bravo,didn't want to deal with the did she know about the fakery.When she was with Steve it got toxic too.She became unhinged and combative with Tamra...She was also on girls trip and she got dumped.She was horrible to Dorinda too.She need her own reality check and she was fired for a while.When Vicki is happy,she is fun.The ogs should pay attention. You are never that big that you can't be fired.....look at Nene.She shot herself in the foot thing she was untouchable.
Alot of people don't know that Vicki actually sued the network as well. I'm surprised they let her back in any capacity at all. If you watch the last reunion she was on as a friend she was a disaster. Yelling at Andy, screaming at the cameras when she was asked to leave the stage for the main cast. It was so bad but hilarious to watch

Heather made comment about loving hotdogs because she's an extremely picky eater. Do you remember the scenes where her and Terry go out to eat and Terry gets frustrated when Hesther asks waiter 50 questions. So i took it as, she knows how picky and yes she loves hotdogs.
I heard Shannon on Jeff Lewis. She said he paid for her plastic surgery (facelift, lipo). She stated he did in fact pay for it, but that she didn’t feel like she owed it, but was paying it.

I always like to know when watching recaps how long ppl have bn watching the individual franchise. Have you guys seen OC seasons going way way back? It does make a difference when watching The really long standing HWs. Tamra joined S3. Shannon joined S9. Tamra had anger issues long before she met Shannon. A pattern i noticed is Tamra always finds someone to target + Act like she has the moral highground. Shes either slut shaming, or the alcohol route. She befriended Shannon but even in that 1st season they were both in Made fun of her+ talked about her being drunk all the time (despite only being drunk WITH her)behind her back + gossiping about her marriage, lied to her about her gaslit her, all the while acting like Her new bff. Thats when she began Playing Heather + Shannon off agsinst each other. That was the 1st reunion of many She apologised to Shannon. They only got close when the brooks fall out dragged on + they both fell out with Vicki. Tamras behaviour has Nothing to do with anyone else, its her own self loathing + Shame + Fear of everyone digging into her life that motivates her. She gets off on having the power to destroy friendships + hurt ppl. If Shannon forgives her again i will throw my TV thru the window! Watching old seasons with Alexis theres no difference between her then + now. Id like To see how Tamra wld cope with Gretchen coming back.
Jeff lewis said there is pap at Disney and people at disney does tip off on celebs... He's been photographed there twice. He didn't call anyone. This was on his recent show with Emily. good listen. She also sides with Shannon and Heather....Emily said Katie becomes unreliable as the season progresses.

If you had to watch Vicky since the beginning of this show you would not be saying this . She is beyond obnoxious. Trust me . That being said the true villains of this show are Tamara and Alexis . Gina was responsible for the whole paparazzi thing . She used Katie to take down Heather. She’s in her strategy for storyline era .
Did Heather and Terry call the paps themself? Probably, but I also don’t think it was such a big deal. The whole cast already moved on after the reunion and you can tell they are over talking about it but Katie needs something to say to stay relevant

Heather is a lot of things... liar is not one of them. But we all know whether it be paparazzi, cameras, radio, public or private, Heathee would still dress appropriately, still look the part, still eat correctly, still spesk clesrly. She would behave that way ALL THE TIME, its not an act, that's just who she is.
After last year's gang up on Heather, nobody is here for another attack on her, its a bad look and Katie is just thirsty, she needs to go.
This calling of the paparazzi is ridiculous! Who cares- and guess what-maybe Terry called- maybe Heather alerted someone to call- if that’s the case, she didn’t lie by saying SHE didn’t call paparazzi. Either way, it’s so irrelevant and no one cares. Can we just get to know more about Katie and her family? Gina is using this Travis thing for her storyline and I just don’t care! She doesn’t bring anything to the show except her rude behavior towards Jenn.

Hey guys… Sorry if I’m repeating what someone else said, but I wanted to clarify and let you know the Jan Man is even bigger dick than we thought he was. I listen to Shannon on Jeff Lewis, and she said that she offered to settle right away because she knew it would cost her more in attorney fees even if she won. Jan Man wanted to make her sign a non-disparagement clause so that she can’t talk shit about him & she refused to do that. So it’s not even about the money because he could’ve had a whole check and he turned it down. I think the whole thing is for PR for him to try to control Shannon to stop talking about him. 🤢
