- You all have been asking me: what are the best drugstore waterproof eyeliner pencils for waterline (tightlining) and smoky eyes? Today I’ll be testing five smudge proof drugstore eye pencils and comparing them side by side. We’ll find out which is the blackest liner, which is the most waterproof, which is easiest to remove and more! These have all been some of my favorite drugstore black eyeliner pencils for 2020, so I’m excited to see which comes out on top! Do you have a different pick for the best drugstore eyeliner pencil? Excellent review! I own most of the L’Oréal colors lol. Bronze is my favorite. Going to try essence based on your review. Have you tried the LA Girl pencil liners would like your thoughts? It’s also affordable.
No I haven't! For some reason it's difficult to find LA Girl around me but I definitely need to explore the brand more!

I enjoyed this video so much! I will say that was hoping to see which liner was the best for smoking out though. Still enjoyed 🙂 I’ll have to check out the essence liner
I would say the softer formulas like the essence and l'oreal are my favorite and super easy to smoke out while also setting in place!
Omg! I was at the store the other day looking for liners..I am going to try the Essence!! I love their princess mascara! Where I very windy, very drying for eyes there for my eyes seem to over produce liquid 😂 so with liners can either evaporate or run down the face

The essence Extreme Lasting Waterproof Eye Pencil smudged like crazy. Very surprised to see it in the list.

Tired of these reviews that don’t test smudging. Like please just run a finger through it, not hard.
I don't apply eye cream in the morning...it works.. maybe That could cause the smudging...

They have a new one since I released this video called the Stay & Play liner which lasts just as well but it's softer and you can smoke it out more, just FYI!!

I really loved this video because the comparison was so thorough! But i have a question , i have very oily eyelids & i was wondering if you may think that the essence liner would hold up with my type of eyelids!
I have pretty oily lids as well and haven't had an issue. Use a dry-ish primer beforehand to make it extra budge proof!

Hi from Portugal ☺ i really loved your video, really remind me the old school UA-cam, I have one question, That version of the essence liner doesn't exists here we have the long lasting and the kajal did you try any of this? Are they any good? Also You didn't include the Maybelline tattoo liner, I really wanna know what are your thoughts on it.
I haven't tried either of those- it looks like the Long Lasting eye pencil isn't waterproof so that might be the main difference? besides the fact that it's retractable.

The video was so helpful. Generally when i apply pencil on my upper lashline it usually transfer in the lower waterline making it look horrible. Is that also the case with the essence eyeliner?
I don't have that issue with this one if I'm careful about application!

The Essence eyeliner was incredible but I had trouble sharpening it...even bought a new sharpener but it kept breaking. I ended up throwing it out...life is too short! Thanks for your review and I like the Infallible navy the best!!!!💕💕💕

It doesn’t smudge? I have oily eyelids and all eyeliner pencils(excluding liquid liners) I’ve used just gets everywhere on my face at the end of the day
Great review. Just ran out and got 1 Essence and 1 L’Oréal. Fingers crossed they work and not smudge. I’ve tried other’s with no luck so high hopes after watching your review.

Essence Extreme Lasting is so far the best. Then Essence Longlasting and then L’Oréal Infallible Longwear. The last 2 are good, but still got some smudging in the outer corner of my eyes.
