- Cleaned up with a stock repair and replacement buttstock. Both turned out well!
Pros: Excellent bores, Good Forestock conditions
Cons: Buttstock damage
You have done a fine job in restoring these rifles.
Thanks. It was a fun winter project.
@@tfusilier44 And well carried out.
Nice and that's a great repo stock.
Great job on both of those. I've got a middle band you can have if you want it. The only catch is that the screw was drilled out of it on one side.
Good video , I just restocked and rebuilt a1875 model #2 , I love having and shooting it ! PS. Making Brass cases and reloading makes it even more fun !
Good work. Definitely more fun than paying for the brass!
Turned out killer man!👌🏻
Thanks!
I would have just bought some walnut blanks and had the stocks remade barrels replaced and receiver reblued. And then source good hardware to refinish as well. Some people might turn their noses at it but I'm not buying the gun for others. I want a rifle to look good and shoot good
brown shoe dye is the best to cover your repair
