  • Cleaned up with a stock repair and replacement buttstock. Both turned out well!
    Pros: Excellent bores, Good Forestock conditions
    Cons: Buttstock damage

    Great job on both of those. I've got a middle band you can have if you want it. The only catch is that the screw was drilled out of it on one side.

    Good video , I just restocked and rebuilt a1875 model #2 , I love having and shooting it ! PS. Making Brass cases and reloading makes it even more fun !

    I would have just bought some walnut blanks and had the stocks remade barrels replaced and receiver reblued. And then source good hardware to refinish as well. Some people might turn their noses at it but I'm not buying the gun for others. I want a rifle to look good and shoot good
