euphotic prostitutes and sex stores was more prominent in the 80s in Times Square. Today not so much

Us NYers avoid Times Square like the plague. 😄

Do the heights or a combined upper manhattan episode (harlem, the heights, inwood). I always thought that I needed to live in lower manhattan before moving here, but once I did I realized that I love the fast paced energy of the city but needed my escape. Uptown is the perfect mix of city life with quiet nights and still in manhattan lol no need to go to brooklyn or queens

Bhargav Patil It’s overcrowded (not now during Covid19), Dirty and things are overpriced, generally targeted to tourists. New Yorkers will pay money just so they don’t have to walk around time square.
@@genesistiburcio3123 Okay. So by this i get an idea that south Manhattan is all commercial and not residential friendly. So can you please tell me which side of manhattan is cheapest (to live in) as compared to others?
@@Bhargav2k24 Hello, I think that I can help you with that. South/lower Manhattan isn't that expensive. You can get flats for about 2000$ per month. I would say that flats in midtown are much more expensive since there are more and more suites. It all depends if you want to live next to Central park or World Trade Centar. By my experience, flats next to Central Park are far more expensive, around 2700$-5000$ per month. So, lower Manhattan and North Manhattan are cheaper as I know. I hope this helped. There are websites on internet where you can find out more about this subject.

Was in NYC last week for Wrestlemania weekend! Loved being back, it's my favorite place in the world. Only thing that sucks for me is the air quality and expense, otherwise I love it, and those things aren't changing anytime soon haha. Finally had some awesome NYC Bagels at Best Bagels and Coffee Midtown and Pick-A-Bagel. Erik, you should do a video on Central Park and Columbus Circle, two of the best places in the city in my opinion.

Ha ha! None of these people wanna go outsida Manhattan. Ever! There's a reason why Brooklyn, Queens and Bronx rock! It's because 90% of the tourists (vloggers included) don't come here much. Thank god for that! :)

It's New York the most expensive city in the United States. To live alone and just make it you need to make 75,000 a year or more. Anything lower you need roommates or won't make it.
