Same to you!
I used to load sheetrock in Westwego. There was a little diner across the street. The jukebox had a song called Pretty Little Girl From Westwego.
That’s a great memory!
@@LouisianaDread yeah, but I can't find the song anywhere. Closest is some Irish ballad about a girl from Omagh. This was local zydeco . 25 years ago.
@@nomadmarauder-dw9re Maybe you're mis remembering the song title
@@ebayerr maybe so. It's been about 30 years. But I remember the diner.
@@nomadmarauder-dw9re National Gypsum....I worked there tarping the loaded flatbeds three years ago

I was a kid in Old Jefferson when the grain elevator exploded. Our windows in the kitchen rattled.
Wow! That must’ve been wild to witness!
I live in nine mile point on river rd about a half a mile from that elevator. I also grew up across the river from the elevator in old jefferson.
Could you do a little history of arpent canals . We've always assumed when and why seems you may have real answers.
An arpent is just a French unit of measurement.
Make sure you do the speed limit and come to a complete stop at stop signs 🤣

Coming up-to Baton Rouge, 8:30am. I look out my driver's window. To see a beautiful young woman in a Knitted dress, next to me. Not a,7,8,9, 10, but a 12, in looks. It was the early, 90's. Because I learn too always be on top of the bridge going west by 7:30am.
Grew up in that are
