    With firmware upgrade it is possible to display internal cell resistance. By scrolling to the left You can toggle between cell voltage and resistance. Exactly like @Painless360 suggest in video ;-) It's huge upgrade from my previous unstable Toolkit RC M8. Finally my charger is calibrated perfectly out of the box, fan is spinning when it have to ;-) My only complain is with security. Bluetooth connection is not secured and anybody (behind the wall) can take over this charger. Attacker can mess up with parameters and burn my lipo and house. I get feedback from skyrc that they are working on securing bluetooth confection :-)

    PD needs to support the higher 20V output levels to be useful for laptops as well as phones.

    Thanks for the review on this, was just checking out the unit now and mostly solidl information. One other thing I did find out though is that the PCH-150 USB unit doesn't plug in the side USDB, it takes up one of the XT60 outputs. Solid no thanks to that haha.

    Another great review! I’m still looking for a new charger to replace my trusty Imax B6 clone. I prefer the USB-C port than A, sorry but don’t you own any USB-C cables by now?

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  Місяць тому +1

      Usb C charging cables are not supplied with hobby hardware, DJI, RadioMaster, RunCam, Speedybee, ISDT, Walksnail, GoPro and many more supply charging cables with A style USB cables. It would have made sense to include an USB-C to A adapter in the box to support those devices easily... Happy flying

    • @Pustul
      @Pustul Місяць тому

      @@Painless360 many of those charge via USB-C, a simple C to C cable would take care of most of them. But I take your point, the best would have been to have both an A and a C port on the charger…

    • @Painless360

      Maybe, it isn't a use case that I can test here. I guess it depends on how the 'power bank' takes current and voltage from a charger... Best of luck!

      That's about right, considering how much SkyRC is better than HOTA. I couldn't care less what fanboys will say, but HOTA with its unbelievably sluggish UI (meaning, not everything is polished inisde) and freezing issues can only eat SkyRC's dust.

    • @dfgaJK
      @dfgaJK Рік тому

      @@DudesonForums it looked pretty good inside and the ui seams the same as the one in the video but with a different skin. The one in the video doesn't seem like it's worth twice as much. @@Painless360 the Aliexpress shipping isn't as slow as you'd expect!
      Spec wise the one in the video can charge at a higer current and has usb pd. But the hota has wireless charging and I'd be surprised if they aren't very similar inside and both equally thermally limited.

      I don't think the HOTA is the same, but I'm pretty sure I know who manufactures all of Hitec's chargers. I don't know if anybody noticed, but a lot of the chargers Skyrc has made are exactly the same as Hitec chargers. The most obvious one is the T1000 and the external discharger- Hitec has this same charger/discharger combo- the only difference seems to be the color. I'm pretty sure Skyrc is an OEM manufacturer and there are many private label brands rebranding their creations. It goes way beyond chargers as well, as Skyrc makes a bunch of accessories that I've seen rebranded as well.

    I hate that Chargers won’t allow me to charge to 4.0 V or 4.1 V
    If i don’t fly i don’t have to storage charge them within half a day. But if i fly i can either top up 10min or just fly - maybe 30% shorter per pack.
    Also batteries last 10x longer when you only use it between 4.1V and 3.5 V instead of consuming every milliamp from 4.25V and 3.3V
