This was oddly satisfying to watch 😭 and actually gave me an idea about these books. I'm considering them now

If I am being completely honest, I have not been as consistent with learning, but I have managed to work my way through the N5 kanji, currently learning N4 kanji. Though I would say that the kanji book is not up to date since it has some N5 kanji that is in the N4 section. And I also wish I got one with all N5-N1 kanji instead since its helpful to have a physical reference book that you can also practice with. I have a detailed review on my instagram page regarding the kanji book if you wish to check it out.
With the other vocabulary book, I have found it very helpful with learning new vocabulary and I think it will also be best paired with the exercise books which I do not have as I am using a different one currently.
So tldr, I recommend the Nihongo Sou Matome book 10/10, but for the kanji its best to have one with N5-N1.
