Hi my name is Paul Pinto and I’m an 19 year old maker from Connecticut. This channel will cover woodworking, metal fabrication, blacksmithing and much more! I will be posting weekly videos of my latest projects so make sure you subscribe!
I love watching super talented people do ridiculous shit
👊👊👍
I love watching This super talented person do ridiculously Cool shit...
There, fixed that for you
Thanks for another great video.
As my wife would say... "Thats stooopit"
Leave the cap off the Sharpie. You'll know when proper rejuvenation has been achieved when ink sprays on the ceiling.
Rube Goldberg is proud of you Paul. Me, I’m speechless.
thank you I appreciate it!!
This is awesome!! Just my kind of dangerous!!! What a great idea! Great work Paul!
Thank you!! I’m glad you liked it
If it doesn't sell on the Sharpie market, it will definitely do well on the BDSM spanking machine market.
That thing works fantastically. Now you only need to fix 999 more Sharpies to hit break even.
😳
Well you fixed the sharpie problem, but how about that open loctite bottle?🤔😂
Uotilagarage hahah
@@PaulPinto Acetone.
Uotilagarage lol
everybody:throw away sharpies
paul:ill make a 12 min video on making a sharpie sharpener
Awesome! I might add a foot operated control about 20 feet away, or possibly another building.
hahah thanks and good idea
Woooooooooooooooooow, I just went out and bought a pack of three Sharpies and he is still making it! At least I now know what I can do with the lathe up in the loft!
Very cool idea, and neat build!
Thank you!!
thanks its very entertaining! love the fact no words spoken!!
Glorious!
haha thanks!
Love the creativity and the talent to back it up. Very Inspiring!!
Thank you!!
Excellent project, a must have in every workshop 👍 😊
hahah thanks!
This man is dangerous, he can think, and solve a problem, all while spending way too much effort. I love it. I was scratching my head during the Tig welding process, but he answer my "WHY," and then some.
Lmao dipping the tip in paint thinners does the same thing
Thanks for the tip, I was on just about to get on Ebay to look for a lathe and a Tig welder to build this Sharpie recovery machine!
To think, I could have wasted all that money and all I needed was some thinners.
Haha, the unnecessarily high RPM is my favorite part. Fun stuff!
I just add a few drops of denatured alcohol to back of the felt reservoir.... but this works too I guess.
Sharpie Rejuvenation Machine 2.0 needs to have a snap in capability so you don't have to use any set screws to hold them in place. And the 2.0 version needs to have a shield so you can't get hit while it is running. Post 2.0 as soon as you upgrade it and we will suggest new improvements from there. Thumbs Up!
Wow! Is this Paul Pinto or Colin Furze?! This is awesome. Maybe a collaboration!!!
thank you! And hopefully that happens one day
That thing is ludicrous levels of dangerous and I love it.
Well that was fun. You forgot one thing (maybe two). Along with the tying of shoelaces comes sheathing a blade and tying a thin strip of cloth around your head.
My great grandfather was always trying to save a nickel. So he just put a whole handful of Sharpies in a microwave, 2 minutes on high. Word of caution, where eye protection.
Sheesh, appreciate the over-engineering, from this I tape the Sharpie to a long lag bolt & 3' of rope then sling it around a few times, took 3 minutes : )
Ha ha.... best video I've seen this week. Thanks Paul
Thanks!!
Well done sir!!! I hear tale Sharpies every where are making pilgrimage to your shop to visit the fountain of youth ⛲️ 🤣🙌🏼
House of Chop 😂😂 thank you!
🤣🤣 brilliant work Paul
hahah thanks!
Someone said that he is gone mad with the power to make labels
Hahah you crack me up paul, all that for a sharpie, all I do is dip the end in some metho.
Very impressed. Good machine. And I like your style as a creator. I will subscribe. First video I've seen of yours. I will have to check out your channel for more content! Thanks!
You must be an MIT graduate. :-) Very entertaining.
Haha thank you!
No signs of overkill lol love it haha
LockpickingBelfast haha thanks!
great💪😀 sooo cool idea. nice video bro🍀👍
Thank you!!
I never would have guessed that this was a viable solution. Excellent execution though! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!! I’m glad you liked it
I was with you till the pens we're the wrong way up on the board
That's some pretty funky music white boy
👍👍👍 Enjoyed!!!
Glad you liked it!!
That would make a good paint marker shaker .
Awesome 😊👌
thank you!!
Touché sir
that was great Paul!!! Waiting for all the hate comments about you'll knock your eye out with that machine.
Haha that’s what the eye protection is for
This is an awesome video! Has Tom Sachs vibe. Nice break from forge. Super entertaining. Now what to do with Sharpies with mushed tips? Hmm. :-) Namaste.
Thank you! And I’m not sure if I can solve that problem haha
pretty cool
Thanks!
Very cool 😎
Thanks!!
Great invention 😁😎 you should patent that 👍
hippy bill 👊👊👍
Sweet!
DLB Knives 👊👊
Well done. The shirt I mean the shirt. Xo
haha thanks Jimmy!
Tim the toolman Taylor had an episode where he talked about a spin cycle that would spin so fast that it would just "spin the shit off" - almost had something there.
drill a deeper pocket counter boar the opening to fit a oring put a small amount of alcohol in the slinger roll a oring on the sharpie but felt tip in slinger seat oring tighten spin force small amount alcohol in then reverse sharpie and run again might gain a better feed dont know if it will work but it might
I love your musical lathe
Haha I’m glad someone noticed that!
$10 in wood
$15 in metal
$5 in welding supplies
$50 electric motor
$6 in wiring supplies
2 hours of shop time
Saving .99¢ on a new sharpie
Priceless!
2 hours? 2 hours just the edit the video.
Креативненько! 👍Hello from Russia 🇷🇺👋
Hey👋👋from America!
Hello from Torrance California
I feel like a momentary switch would probably be more appropriate 😂
Airn5475 haha good idea
haha! very entertaining! now that i though about it i just put one in the lathe and spun it.
I think that buyng 10 new sharpies would cost less 😂 aka when engeneer want to fix sharpie
25 or 50 would be less if u value ur time! but good execution on the build
It’s not always about cost of the item, or machine. Go see what industry does to save a few seconds here and there. I designed, and made what’s likely the worlds most complex tungsten sharpener, because I could, it was fun to do, and I get perfect tungsten tips at any angle, with any diameter tungsten, in just a few seconds, 100% repeatably. Did I have to? No, but what’s the point of having the skill, knowledge and equipment if you don’t use it to solve the little problems as well as the big ones-and have fun doing it?
But Paul, I would have put a shield between the switch and the end of the arm, in case the Sharpie flew out while you were turning it on or off-just in case.
nice idea! some masking tape and a ceiling fan would do the trick I guess
Javier Salcedo lol that’s true
Hah! That is fabulous!
hahah thank you!!
In less time than it took to watch this video, I set my uncapped dried up sharpie on its head, with its cap on, and literally got the same results. It makes for a nice Rube Goldberg machine, though.
And that is why I’m the one making the videos and you’re the one watching them
I’m not just watching them...I’m doing better than just that. I’m commenting on them.
Hell yes
Nice “Baby Label Maker”. (Seinfeld reference)
Subbed just because it is so Heath Robinson
OH and S would love this HAHAHAHA
You really cracked me up when you hit the on switch. I don't know if I'll ever be able to rejuvinate a Sharpie with a few drops of 90% alcohol again. Might have to build one. Score 9:10. (10:10 if you draw blood or break bones.) Good one . Cheers. Subbed.
slick trick. i use sharpies in my cage business, and someone forgets a cap once in a while. wouldn't know who, but since i work alone, it's a good bet i can figure it out. this might save him some ass chewings. lol!
Has a sort of Tom Sachs feel to it. Very awesome.
Thank you! He inspired this project
Paul Pinto that dude is something else, isn’t he? The Apollo capsule out of plywood and all the goings on in and around it are 11 out of 10.
Paul's music is controlled by his lathe, the lathe stops and so does the music
Hahah glad you caught on
I don't know who's your father, uncle, big brother, teacher, neighbor dad, older friend or maybe mentor... but young man, they raised you right
I feel like a fool for just spraying brake cleaner on the tip and popping the cap back on. This is a much cooler way and it saves on brake cleaner!!
After all that work how many more lines can you get out of that Sharpe ?.😨
That's the definition of overkill
I dont use sharpies often but i need this just to spin random objects
A wise man once said “Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time”. That one off switch looks like it is right in the line of fire. You might want to get a 2x4 eight or ten feet long to turn it on.
Instructions unclear, ended up with Sharpie wedged in rectom.
Sounds like you have more serious problems then a dry sharpie.
Valueless Dollar - real problem is that he was the one that it there LOL
Imagine the cap flying off from the high rotation it has lol
The best, easiest & quickest way to fix that problem is getting some rubbing alcohol.and soaking the tips in some alcohol long enough to wick all the way to the top of the tips.
The only thing is if it’s too full of ink the cap might end up full. LOL!
Store 'em tip down, and you don't need the machine.
That's what I try to do, it definitely helps
I want one. Where can I get one? Can I have yours.
LOL! Perfect!
👊👊👍
Bet thing ever made
Lathe and TIG!
R Wilche1 👊👊😃
Ironically at 7:03 it said “Don’t forget to Subscribe” in sharpie. There was another sharpie this whole time
nice, feeling a bit like Laura Kampf video.
WTF? LOL, this is incredible Rube Goldberg stuff I love!
billybike57 thank you!!
Well i'll be dammed, it actually works.
He forgets to tighten that, that sharpie will go thru somebody/the roof or end up in orbit, lmao
Sweeeeeet!!!!!
There has to be a way to make art with the different colors place poster sized picture papers in a circle turn it on move them arround switch colors do again somebody on here would pay money for them
RIP sharpie factory 😢
Buy Milwaukee Inkzall Jobsite Markers . Superior to Sharpie pens.
This video was awesome, I’m subscribing for sure :)
Thank you!!😀
there's 12 minutes I won't get back
Totally stupid. I love it 👍🇦🇺I usually try getting some alcohol 🍺🥃 and soak my stomach with it for a few hours then BANG 💥 WHAT sharpie
👍😂
👊👊👍
Compete wast of your time but I love it awesome work 👍
Not a waste of his time. Interesting.
They sell sharpies at the dollar store. They're even cheaper if you buy a pack of ten or so...
Really? I never even thought about that, good idea!
Seems like a lot of work to avoid spending $2.00 at Wal-Mart for 3 new markers...BTW, I store mine "Point Down" and don't have this problem...man, you got a lot of time on your hands...
Absolutely ridiculous & brilliant! Who cares how much a Sharpie costs! Can Laura Kampf sue you for stealing her no-audio-communicate-via-signs method? Or, can you sue her?...Thanks, Paul👍✌️🙏
I now want to see what damage it can do!!!
Put the Sharpie in, but leave the cap off! Then sell your ceiling tiles for the big buck$ as modern art!
