It's not an often occurrence to find watches in this well-preserved of condition, and this black diamond dial Day-Date is what we would refer to as a pinnacle example. The dial, case, and bracelet of this watch remain in stunning condition and the watch includes its original inner and outer presentation boxes, along with its original operating booklets.

I have this with the champagne dial and now I can’t stop wearing it. All my steel watches have been sitting in the drawer collecting dust. Gold has something special about it and once you wear you feel the difference! ❤

Just come across this Chanel got my first 18038 on Friday and mine had that rosey gold colour but had a lot of stretch on the bracelet so that’s going in to be fixed in a month

Personally, I think it's just a preference with a lean more towards the nonbank finished cases and bracelets. I think if the bark finished watch hasn't been polished they can be absolutely stunning!
