Good list as usual. I do wish that the descriptions were a bit more in depth. Some of them felt a little vague. I also will say that I'm SHOCKED that the guy who was on "Megan Wants a Millionaire" that killed his wife was not on the list. That caused the network to cancel the rest of that show, Season 3 of "I Love Money" and caused the end of all of the "Of Love" shows.

You missed the proper #1. “Megan Wants A Millionaire” getting cancelled mid-season because a contestant killed his girlfriend and committed suicide. Not only that, but it caused I Love Money season 3 to never air. That’s two shows that got taken down on the back of this.

That’s Horrible. I think that incident had to be left out of this video due to UA-cam Censors surrounding that subject matter.
Not to mention it essentially ended the "of love" Era of vh1 shows.

Does anyone else remember the short lived dating show, "Megan wants a Millionaire" that was pulled from the air halfway through because one of the contestants murdered his wife and then killed himself?

Yes I remember, I read the article I believe from a People magazine that interviewed Megan, and she said in it that "That could have been me."
And remember the show I Love Money? I Love Money 3 never aired because that same guy won

What about "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire?". He had financial issues, had previously had a restraining order against him, and he lied about a lot of things from the last time he performed as a comedian to even his real name.
Didn't Colton came out as gay a few years later? I'm guessing his inner struggle about his sexuality was responsible for part of his erratic behavior

I’m guessing that MsMojo wanted to focus on the bad behavior of Colton after the Bachelor. Besides, Anyone (no matter their orientation) can be a Stalker or a Stalking Victim. Then, realistically, I notice that most stalking incidents happen between Straight People.

@@chrisringgold6090 that's because the majority of Americans are straight, that's why there'd be more stalking complaints and I'm sure there's LGBT people out there who are being stalked and don't wanna file a complaint due to either being embarrassed or them still being in the closet and they don't want attention drawn to them. I think everyone knows anyone can be stalked. However having a big secret, like being gay, can cause a person to have issues like Colton did. I'm bi and in the closet to my friends and family and I've got anxiety due still being in the closet among other things that causes me to have anxiety. It deserves to be in the video due to the videos topic.

Also, I'm pretty sure there are multiple suicides connected with Love Island. This list must not have been researched. They just listed some off the top of their heads.
I feel like Jonathan from Amazing Race should have gotten a dishonorable mention at least for one of the most uncomfortable reality TV moments when he was verbally abusing Victoria for losing. Ooof. So uncomfortable
How about on the Bachelor Australia when Blake Garvey chose Sam Frost, but then dumped her after the final aired for second runner up Louise Pillidge. Apparently the producers made him pick Sam, but he was really in love with Louise, so he waited until the show had aired and then dumped Sam for Louise. He and Louise only ended up lasting 18 months.
Wait where is "Megan wants a millionaire". Literally one contestant, ryan may have killed his girlfriend then killed himself forcing vh1 to end the season prematurely and not air i love money 3 and killed off the entire i love..... franchise
I was looking for a “Top 10 Best Dating Shows” list. In the 90s and early ‘00s there was a glut of blind dating shows and I was hooked on *several.*

Agreed. Not only did this scandal cause the rest of the show to never see the light of day, it also caused the 3rd season of I Love Money to never air. It took down 1.5 shows with it.

The dating game is a truly classic game show from the 60's,but that one was a huge scandal,for game show fans everywhere.
A serial killer not being background checked to be apart of it and almost take the contestant out was a huge red flag did it end up getting canceled? Probably not

The Bachelor(ette) has got to be the dumbest reality show ever made. I don’t understand the whole concept. The “contestants” are clearly sleeping with the bachelors. This is why I don’t watch reality TV.

Are you gay or straight should've been on the list. Dating show where a woman had to elimimate contestants and find out if they were gay or straight. She had to try and not pick a gay man at the end. Glad it only had one season. The way the gay men were treated was awful.

I thought Tyra flipping out on Tiffany at panel would've made the list or the scandal surrounding Saleisha's eligibility for the competition or Angelea's mysterious "disqualification. What about Amy's Baking Company on Kitchen Nightmares that episode caused plenty of controversy. What about Extreme Makeover: Home Edition? Flavor of Love should be here as well.

You know what my Mom and I are very furious about that whole entire Chris Harrison and Rachel Kirk Connell controversy!
The way that they both were treated was so entirely unfair!
We are all for blacks and we are against people who are racists but we also feel like the Black Lives Matter movement takes things way too far!
It's a huge world out there! Everyone can have an accidental moment of being racist even when they don't know much about racism or blacks or someone gets drunk and says things that they don't mean or believe in! Like what had happened with Morgan Wallen who was also a victim in all of this! :(

In 2018, The Black Lives Matter movement was not trending yet it was in 2021.
Also due to the pandemic everyone was way too overly sensitive with absolutely anything for lots of things and people were unfairly cancelled that year. Also sadly The Black Lives Matter movement was trending.
We are extremely proud of Chris Harrison stepping down as host because we don't want him to get more attacked than he already unfairly is. We always loved Rachel Lindsey but what she did with Chris Harrison was so not fair on so many levels.
Rachel Kirk Connell partied in that racist place having no idea what it was till that controversy came on. She's a good person who made a mistake and that's why Chris Harrison was trying his awful best to stand up for her but of course oversensitive people when it comes on down to racism don't even look at the bigger picture and throw them to the wayside!
Heck Rachel Kirk Connell even so apologized! Isn't that enough?! :(
My Mom has been a big huge fan of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette show for so many years but after what had happened with Chris Harrison and Rachel Kirk Connell she no longer watches the shows anymore.
We get the absolute fact that the shows didn't have any black leads over the years till Rachel Lindsey but we understand the fact that it had absolutely nothing to do with racism.
It more had to do with the fact that the Bachelor or Bachelorette was chosen before because they had the ratings go up higher in each show like what had happened with Rachel Lindsey.
But, of course, why are there more black leads in the shows now?
It's not because of who they are it's because of the fact that the shows want to promote black people now and show that they are now woke. Wouldn't it be far more important for that black person to be on the show because of who they are and not just because they are black and the companies behind the shows want to make themselves look good?
That controversy was so not fair at all and I have questioned my favoritism feelings for Rachel Lindsey ever since.
She will always be one of my favorite Bachelorettes but after what she despicably did to Chris Harrison unfairly judging him I don't like her as a person anymore and neither does my Mom. :(
