Merry Christmas, Joe! Your spider videos are always my favorites, but your passion for machining is inspiring. It says a lot about you as an individual that your main content is attractive to people who discovered you from side content that's completely unrelated.

years ago when I started out as a machinist, I was Blanchard grinding a rectangular cast iron part with irregular ribs and it was creating some of the most beautiful music. I couldn't believe it, I never forgot it.
There is always some I dr it who think smacking the enclosure of a Blanchard when you are running it is funny. But I've had pieces get thrown off the chuck myself. One time I had the old timers scratching their heads when I setup a three mill by vices on the chuck and was clamping up rough stock of Ampco 18 bar stock. Worked great. Vices cleaned up easily.
The very best to you, and yours Joe. I was a machinist for 40 years, the last 35 in the same shop. We had two CNC's , and I absolutely hated "babysitting the robot". Guess I'm just hopelessly old school. Keep turning out those great vids.
Merry Christmas Joe to you and your family. I am a 54 year old disabled Plumber/electrician/auto body restoration specialist and you have taught me a new skill. Unfortunately I had to buy a 1934 south bend heavy 10 and an old M Bridgeport mill😂 😂😂 Thank you for all that you show us. Some simple tricks to major tips. I followed along and built a Stuart D10. I watched your videos over and over and over. Mine does run smooth but had to fix tons of mistakes. Guess not a great first project 😂again Joe thanks so much and for the money you can’t beat your lessons….😂…………..
