I've been learning that it's best to stay away from nostalgia because it causes emotions like that. It's a tough habit to break -- I've clearly failed by clicking this video. Still, it's worth a try.
Indeed, I was 10 when these ads aired. They even happened to be from my home state which I didn't expect! Being 10 kinda sucked, but it's waaaaay better than being in my 40s
I was born in 92 but I always say if I could stay in an infinite loop of being born in 1979 and living until 2008 for the rest of eternity I'd happily take that. Having currently lived till 2022 I can confidently say that nothing past 2008 is worth seeing.
All these adds and old commercials takes me back to a time of my life that was bittersweet 89 my adoption was finalized a year later in 90 my dad lost his battle with lung cancer I became an adult and head of household at the tender age of 13
To anyone who remembers watching these on television, We where born into a world that no longer exists, I remember watching these commercials when I was 10/11 year's old. This was back in a time when commercials actually sold products, and television shows and movies actually entertained people, now commercials, movies and TV shows are nothing but ideological subversion designed to make people stupid, depressed, miserable and easily manipulated.
You LITERALLY said everything I say on a daily basis. I'm 40 and LITERALLY cry everytime I watch anything to do with the 90's. Today's times suck in so.many ways. Their used to be an innocence in life. That is totally missing today. I could literally OD on nostalgia.
HOLY SHIT A POWERGLOVE AD! Also I specifically remember those Pepsi "Cool cans" when i was a child. digging through a cooler at a BBQ to get that cool black neon one!
You can extrapolate a lot of conclusions from looking at what and how was advertised to a certain public or culture during an era. Thank you for preserving a small part of human history
Love this channel...but I cry every time I watched these videos. I'm 40..my youth WAS the 90's. Ages 9-18. I could OD on nostalgia. Those were the last days where there was still a innocence to life...especially as a kid. Kids today are all about technology and the internet and worshipping these reality stars or instagram or internet stars. Just sad. I just crave the earlier times and days 😥
I was born a year after all these Commercials were aired on TV. I never saw that Pepsi ad on UA-cam before. My favorite ones were the McDonald's, Lifesavers and car ads.
1989 (age 9 for me) was the start of the best stretch of years of my life lasting until 1994 when I started high school. I hated high school lol. I wish I could go back to those years.
😆14:13 I especially remember this 1. I worked my 1st McDonald's Job at 17 in '90. My Dad especially wanted ME to be that very boy shown here. Let that boy BE darnit🤨.
My twin sister and I were in a commercial for a place called FUN4ALL in the early to mid 90's, she passed away last year. Any chance you have come across it? It would have been a NEW YORK / LONG ISLAND commercial
I remember watching that at my grandparent's house in mid-November of 1989 while my folks went on their annual November trip to Chicago. The next month we went and saw BTTFII at the theater in Peoria, IL.
Watching old stuff makes me wish I could go back then. Things as an adult are terrible

Always a joy seeing you post.
Always grateful for the work you do with this channel. Because it makes a world of difference for so many of us. Makes us remember better times.
The only thing making it better times is lack of responsibility as most of us were kids. Being an adult is exactly fun.
What great memories. Makes me feel warm inside.
I would do anything to go back to this time. The 80's was so real. Everyone was in a good mood and it reflected in commercials, movies, and music.
Wow, some of these commercials brought back memories-I was around 10 when these aired!
Never thought I’d enjoy watching commercials. Hard to believe I remember some of these!
God I wish I could go back. Such a better time😔
"Bird on a Wire" is one of my all time favorite movies.
Out of all the UA-cam channels this one is the most important
Lol naw

3:35 The Power Glove: Everything else...is child's play
I remember walking around the house impersonating that opera singer "NIN-TEN-DOOOOO!" As a 10 year old boy at the time, why not?!

That Jenga commercial was just before Hasbro got distribution rights, so that's the original Jenga commercial!
@1:30 Whoa, I've been trying to find this commercial for years... :-) Thank you for this!!!
There's a zero percent chance they would air that first commercial today.
After watching it again, I now say there is a NEGATIVE chance they would air it today! Like, it would have to be some alternate universe!
😆14:13 I especially remember this 1. I worked my 1st McDonald's Job at 17 in '90. My Dad especially wanted ME to be that very boy shown here.

Too bad McDonald's employees aren't still like that.
