This episode we head to the breathtaking Mount Wellington, a must-see destination towering above Hobart, Tasmania. Known for its incredible views and diverse trails, we set out to tackle some of its iconic tracks. However, things didn’t go quite as planned. With my knees struggling on the rugged terrain, we faced a tough decision-turn back or push through. Hi Sandy, Tim and Pablo A Happy New Year. Wish you all a prosperous year 2025. haha things happen all the time ..unexpectedly ...closed...gone...you name it. Mt. Wellington...certainly an iconic destination PPL are swarming hahah Oh considering your knees, I do not recommend hiking over rocks..wow..rock mine, I may say. Soil is easy on knees, but not those rocks... I like an idea just relax and enjoy the view..a cup of tea and sweet treat, why not..haha I thought pablo seems quiet..is he alright? I really enjoy the sky time-lapse. What's the beauty! Thank you so much for humorous conversation hahha Well done..Bravo! BTW, the mailing address on your channel still exists? I have something to mail to you I finally am back home after months of evacuation from the natural disaster. My elder in-laws headed back too. Now I have my own time and space. I slept like a baby in my own bed..hahah
Wow guys some amazing views for sure. Even when you’re on the level Sandy if it’s crooked underfoot it proves to take it out on your knees. 2k is quite difficult on uneven terrain too. The views were worth your efforts though. Tim has the right idea, as soon as the hard work is done the Brit in him comes out and a cup of tea and biscuits always solves everyone’s problems and fixes everything 😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing guys and see you again soon 🤗🤗🤗👍👍🙌🙌🙌🤩
Stunning views in the right day - sorry about the knees but surely Tim could give a piggy back what’s wrong with him lol 😂😂😂😂 Can you imagine being involved in that bridge accident - terrifying Stay safe
I think you missed the Royal Tennis court at the high end of the market! It’s so worth a look. There’s another court in Melbourne, but they are rare. Thanks for the lovely views. 🌷💕
Some beautiful views. Hiking can very challenging, especially with ailments. A lady encouraged me one day on a hiking trail when I didn't think I was going to make it to the summit of the mountain we were climbing in the memory of our son. She said, even if I did not make it to the top of the summit, I reached the top of my summit of what I can do. I always remind myself of that when I can't go anymore.
A video idea sometime, I'd be interested to know how you handle requests for filming permits by Parks, cities, museums, businesses, etc. I've heard that Tassie is very strict and includes social media content creators under their definition of commercial.
Amazing location. Try glucosamine chondroitin a dietary supplement that is often used to treat joint pain and osteoarthritis. You are so young to have knee issues.
Great footage of Mount Wellington guys, and maybe those people thought you were undercover camping narks🤣😂Last time I was there was in August 2015 and the wind was so strong that I had to hang on my door to try and close it and had to go into the shelter, then the next time I went up there it was calm. Looking forward to your continuing journey💕❤
