Shawn, you and some of your friends should all chip in and get a chipper. That way you could get rid of all the branches so you don't have to worry about burning them.

I did. The rocks were smaller than my fist, so it did a good job of breaking up the ground, but I had to clean out the hole by hand. Still easier than the regular post hole diggers hahhahhaha.

I feed the hens a complete pellet food from Alaska mills. Deet is pretty much the local after shave up here this time of year lol...

Thank you Elva! Up here fresh eggs sell for 7 to 8 a dozen, I charge 6. The main goal is to pay for the feed and offset my costs.
