Miles is the the only newish character Marvel has created in the past several years that has staying power though.

​@@fictioninkflowhe can't be Spider-Man, he's not a multiverse variant, not anymore. and they wont let him be just miles or give him his own identity.
it's not staying power. it's just the stubborn denial that they can push him into the role and fans will allow it. I love the idea of Miles but I dont like the implementation of him or the mindset behind it.
