this is the best channel for people looking to learn or get better at ocarina! i haven’t purchased an ocarina yet but i feel like i already have so much help from watching so many of your videos. you’re very charismatic and explain things very clearly so i feel like it’s going to be easier for me to learn how to play the ocarina because of these videos :D
Great video! I actually learnt this tune by ear when I had just started playing and wanted to learn the whole OoT and MM soundtracks. I think it's originally in D, but C is definitely more conducive to this line of ocarine.
Hi I'm in Germany and I must have an STL Ocarina because I've just an Amazon ocarina, and the STL shipping costs in Germany are 30 to more than 50 dollar. What can I do Gina? Oh and your Videos are nice

Bei uns sind die Postbote sehr unzuverlässig und es sind mehrmals glassachen kaputt angekommen, daher hab ich ein bisschen Sorge, weil stl nichts erstattet oder neu sendet, wenn es verloren oder kaputt geht..
Personally I think the 12-hole transverse ocarine are easier for beginners because they're more linear in their fingerings. The fewer holes you have, the more complex fingerings are. It's ultimately down to personal preference, though.
There are a lot of different naming systems for all instruments. For example, alto flute should technically be a tenor flute. I just called this a Tenor since that’s what STL calls it which I believe simplifies the naming process for them.

So I want to buy an ocarina but idk where to start, would a 6 hole be better for a beginner than a 12 hole ocarina?
