Dude got 40 of the best handcrafted pokemon to run a nuzlocke with and still almost threw multiple times. Sometimes the content isnt worth it.
Alpharad at least knew what to expect half the time from his friends, saying "you don't know these people like I do!" and was pretty spot on a lot of the time, though the Chatot with Oblivion Wing got his respect.

Fun fact: Huge Power doubles a Pokémon’s actual stats, not its base stats.
So an Absol with Huge Power essentially has a base attack stat of about 309, not 260.
How did you get the 309 number? I was trying to do the calculations, but I couldn't find a method that worked

@@superzockertvyt9630 Yeah, but the only method I could find to calculate base stats was to get a 0 IV, 0 EV, Neutral nature Pokémon, take 5 from the number and then divide it by 2. Absol with a 0 IV, EV and neutral nature has 265 attack, and if you take 5 and divide by 2, you get the 130, but if we're measuring the possible 788 attack it could have, the method doesn't work. I'd probably have to figure out how exactly EVs, IVs and natures influence the base stat, then get what a 0 IV, EV, neutral nature version of a 788 attack mon would be like and only then I could calculate the base stat. That felt like I was overcomplicating the problem, though, so I wanted to know if there was an easier method
It's easier to demonstrate it visually for those who don't play competitively to double the base stat, rather than explain it. It also would have killed the pacing for that part of the video.
And that's before Dragon Dance. 😶

Alpha’s video exposed everyone by calling them out for having the same joke of truant and splash so best believe that someone wanted to do the onix joke but no would cuz they’d expect someone else to

Kidd didn’t know how sturdy worked at the time so he suggested his friend, Alpharad, to switch in onix during a nuzlocke against a jynx that had ice punch.
It went horribly and now he is infamous for that clip. Every Pokémon reaction channel ever slandered him for causing Alpha to make an awful misplay
@@hedgehogpower194 The joke was that during the infamous "Onix Incident", Braden FORGOT this when advising Jacob to send out Onix (not that it would have worked anyway- Jynx is still faster and Onix's Attack isn't high enough to OHKO Jynx even with a Super-Effective Rock Slide, meaning even with the Quick Claw, it wouldn't have worked).
...On top of that, you said the wrong item. It's a Focus _Sash,_ not a Focus _Band._ Yes, the two are different items- Focus Band is a Gen 2 item that has a 10% chance (12% in the original Gen 2) to essentially activate Endure on each hit.

The worst part of this entire video is that PChal's Swellow dying was completely optional because of the secondary effect of Roost making Swellow weak to Fighting. It could have lived a range of the second CC crit.
As for what I'd give if it was my choice, a Rayquaza with the moveset of a Lv70 Mismagius, to play off that one episode of the DP anime
If you watch it again, if it wasn't for the roost healing, without swapping it would've died anyway

It's clearly a labrat, even more so when it's shiny, so let's make it a full on laboratory technician. If this is a gen 9 run its tera type is poison (edit: except I think it's one of the few Pokémon not available in any Switch game yet). As a bonus it's still not a very good pokémon.

Y'know. I said this on alpharad's video but I'll say it here. I think the single most hilarious mon would be a Feebas with Contrary, Dragon Dance, Quiver Dance, Feather dance, and Swords Dance holding an expert belt. She is an expert dancer who does things her way, not conforming to societies demands of her, freely expressing herself with interpretive dance. The ability can be changed to: Cute charm, dancer, queenly majesty, slow start, own tempo, defiant, quick feet, skill link, vital spirit, guts, inner focus, synchronize, intimidate, or speed boost (likely others too) to fit the comedy's needs depending on generation. Truly a versatile comedic pokemon for future egg locks :)
I would've sent you a squirtle with volt absorb. Moves would be ice beam, surf, rain dance, and thief.

I would probably do a shuckle with Assault Vest as its held item and sturdy as its ability. It’s moves would be dragon dance, swords dance, celebrate, and self destruct. It would just basically work as a kamikaze. EDIT: If celebrate doesnt exist add baby doll eyes
Assault vest makes it so it cant dragon dance or swords dance, make it a silk scarf so it’s a guranteed ohko and you can set it up to ensure it
I gave it assault vest so it was forced to self destruct but I guess it’s better for it to have silk scarf. Making all of the other moves just useless (like celebrate) would probably be better.

For me effect spore umbreon with chesto berry, rest, screech, metal sound, and snarl would be a good supporting pokemon to use in a nuzlocke

I think it would be cool to do a whole monotype egglocke to add some difficulty and creativity
Use a Marshtomp. Swampert and Mudkip get all the love but I'm sure my man Marshtomp can cook if given the proper oven.
If you want moves, abilities, and items as well from these audience eggs, then give Marshtomp Eviolite, give him Milk Drink, and give him Sap Sipper so he can't even get knocked out due to a bungle against a Pokémon with a grass move.
A kingdra with the sniper ability, a scope lens, and draco meteor.
I would pick focus energy, but it usually gets that move pretty early, so it's kind of a waste
Definitely would send a Snorunt holding a silk scarf to Hopefully warm it's ice body during Blizzards, icy winds, hail and weather balls

Shedinja with Sturdy as it's ability (if it's gen 4 or earlier, give it wonder guard) heavy-duty boots as its item (if it's an earlier gen than gen 8; give it a focus sash), with the moveset of Safeguard, Endeavor, Quick Attack, and Shadow Sneak
For a Nuzlocke I’d send Houndoom, if the challenge were to fill the Pokédex I’d send Slowbro, for raids I would send Tinkaton

I may have only ever played one Pokemon game, but i think Wobbafett with Counter, Mirror Coat, Leech Seed, and Facade holding a flame orb would be pretty funny.
If I were to send in an egg, it would be a Volcarona with Contrary and a wide lens, along with the moves Overheat, Draco Meteor, Leaf Storm, and Morning Sun. and if we're doing natures then it'd be timid
I think after having watched both yours and Alpharad’s videos about this, I’d end up making a Heracross with Hustle and a Wide Lens. Then I’d give him a ton of STAB-appropriate physical moves to be a juggernaut.
Blissey with Imposter, transform if imposter doesn't work for whatever reason, and no item. Since you take everything from an opponent you transform into besides HP and Level, and Blissy has the highest HP of any non-legendary you of course get what is essentially just the other pokemon but better.
If I could give a pokemon for a run like this (assuming it would be gen five) I'd pick an eviolite wonder skin Servine with dragon tail. Total give and take theme, mostly take though.
I would probably send a shiny spheal with dragon dance dragon breath sheet cold and reflect its item is focus slash and ability is wonder guard

If you’re doing a gen where it’s possible, do moody shedinja with recycle focus sash. Spam recycle until you accumulate a ton of boosts, then sweep with stored power.

For your next Egglocke, I'd go for a Marvel Scale + Flame Orb Chansey with Counter and Protect as its signature moves (you can do anything with the last two moves) :)

I'd say Serene Grace Electivire holding an Assault Vest. Maybe have him be a mixed attacker, so I'd run Wild Charge, Ice Punch, Flamethrower, and Ancient Power.

Pokemon for next egglock: Togepi with Power Construct and V-Create holding an Eviolite. He is an anime protagonist who powers up at low HP into a god-dragon person
I think a fun thing to do alongside these challenges would be to share the eggs somehow but unlabelled or with random numbers for labels so that viewers can give it a go for themselves with their own blind run with the same Pokemon

I just kinda think it’s funny that Aggron gets so many coverage moves yet can’t make good use of them due to being a physical attacker.
If I were to be a part of one of these, I would give a huge power attack form deoxys with a life or and have the moves: swords dance dragon ascent, calm mind, and hyper beam. The life orb could be switched for a quick claw or assault vest (which would require both swords dance and calm mind to be removed) but I think that it would work really well either way.
I'll go ahead and choose whatever. I'm pretty sure it'll be Gen 4 again, so I'll go ahead and submit whatever the heck popped up into my head.

Characteristic: No one cares about these because no one knows what they do. They basically determine which stat grows more quickly, dependent on which stat is their highest stat upon being obtained. Just let the game decide which characteristic the Pokémon has. (For those who don't know what I'm talking about (still), it's those descriptions that say stuff like "likes to run", "has good perseverance", etc.)
Gender: Let the game decide if he's a boy or if she's a girl, I don't really care that much about it

You should use a levitate air balloon tornadus, rookidee, or corvisquire because you need the triple ground immunity (signature move gravity)

I would give you good old shiny venipede with a random ability but regular move set, I have no rules set to it, you can evolve it if you want.

Please use an electrode with choice scarf as the item, no guard as the ability and the moves of sheer cold, fissure, horn drill and guillotine.
Depends on the Generation. Anything 6 onward, I want someone to decimate the region with a Parental Bond Regigigas with Ominous Wind for signature move and King' Rock held item. Gen 4 and 5, swap Parental Bond for Serene Grace
Wonder Guard Chikorita if early gens for Mr. Stake, or Contrary Pawniard with Superpower and Sucker Punch for later gens.
For me I would do Charizard (Because Charmander is my favourite Pokémon) with Huge Power and the moves Dragon Dance, Thrash, Hyper Beam, and Flamethrower. Just to make it powerful!

The pokemon I’d choose for the next egglocke would have to be a Trevenant with the moves Ingrain, Leech Seed, Horn Leech, and Wood Hammer. They would also have the ability Thick Fat as well as the item Big Root. Their name will be Jorsh.
