I just wanna tell you some news about my mom why she’s not allowed to fly to United States I thought it was a good idea that I walk around Beverly Hills and Hollywood Boulevard while I tell you some stories, it was incredible that I met Paul Stanley from the world, famous rock ‘n’ roll band, kiss, and a pizza place in Beverly Hills - Розваги

When an airliner is flying at 30,000 ft, the cabin air pressure is set at 8,000 ft. above ground level.
So, there is less air pressure and oxygen than at ground level.
So, if one has lung capacity problems, it might not be a good idea to fly.
maybe mom.can come via boat? just a thought
I have a friend with COPD flies with a portable oxygen concentrator. Like you see.. "INOGEN" is just one. They are a bit pricey. Some let you rent them. Since they don't have liquid oxygen in them or compressed gas, they are approved for air flight

I love the fact that you love Hollywood/USA. I was raised in Los Angeles and celebrity sightings happen, so who cares if people want to be negative over your excitement. I can care less that people want to be "anti Hollywood". You're excitement is all that matters. It's fun seeing you happy over the famous people you meet.

I've been to LA probably 50 times, and the only celebrity we ever saw was Ryan seacrest, which was not that exciting. Maybe there were others, but I barely keep up with celebrities and wouldn't know them if I saw them!

You mom should definitely come over after October and by all means be in southern California over Christmas to avoid the cold and dismal weather in Germany. Better yet, surprise her by taking her to Hawaii for Christmas! She'll love it. Get out of Waikiki though and maybe discover Maui or the Big Island... It might rain but it won't be cold. Hey Mike, you should try to travel a little around the US with Adam the Woo and learn more about America in person, if you can. Try to visit the Redwood forests...the GIV way, and get your mother there too, before the big earthquake comes. That’s the real California experience.

I was working in the foothills today in LA Canada. It actually snowed around 2 o'clock PM. Didn't last long but it was amazing.

I totally agree with you GIV. I love Los Angeles and Southern California. Lived there when I was a little kid circa 1960, yes I'm old LOL, didn't get back there till three years ago and stayed right in Hollywood and I was never so happy and loved every minute of it. It definitely feels like home to me and if I had the money I would move there. I know a lot of people hate on Southern California and I know there's negative things about it, but I'm like you, I love it and I see the good things and also the excitement. There's nothing wrong with being excited about running into certain celebrities. People try to say that everybody is the same but no I'm sorry, Pamela Anderson is not the same as the girl who works at the Dunkin Donuts 5 minutes from me. Lol. I really wish I could afford to move to LA and spend the last years of my life there because I am happier there than I am anywhere. I've lived in South Florida for 35 years now and it's not exactly awful and I have met celebrities here and watched films being filmed, but it's not Los Angeles. I do hope your mom is better soon.
Something about LA's/SoCal's combo of weather, terrain, culture, history makes it not common in the US & world. Aspects of it, however, are similar throughout the world, but rarely the full package. LA also has bad features found elsewhere too (more or less, or just as much of), such as crime, vagrants, traffic, corruption & poverty. As for where people choose to live, I read that many transplants to even a city like Paris, France end up moving elsewhere. So constant change & turnover are a fact of life, all over the globe.

Hey Mike I will keep your Mom in prayers. I think I saw Bruce Lees picture on the high wall in that pizza place. Its cool that you ran into Paul Stanley. I dont really care for Kiss now days but when I was a kid in the 70s we thought they were cool with the crazy look and my parents took me and my little brother to our first concert to see Kiss when I was 8 years old! back then they didnt have restrictions on the sound levels decibels allowed It was very LOUD!! And there was a lot of wacky tebaccy in the air lol 😀
