I loved this game from way back when and even own North Wind still in shrink. I despise memory in games but think it works great here (what Tom called imperfect memory) and it does feel thematic with the exploration and buying/selling across different areas to generate profits. It always felt a little long so I don't know when I'll take this off the shelf next, but I still feel a lot of nostalgia for it!
Goodness i remember the original game. It looked very very similar but in a smaller box. I liked the game but i got rid of it about 15 years ago bevause it was just too long for a 2 player game. Its quite an old game now mechanically.
Whaaat? You cannot half 4,5 and 6 in the way you did. You mess up your chances. If 4=2, 5=3 (as said in the video) 6=3, then 3 is the most likely number to come up and 1 is the least likely. The math is wrong here

I dont really get the Catan branding. It seems to have nothing to do with original catan.
Really liking Tom's new glasses look.
My wife and I went through the tutorial modules but we ended up doing 1, 3, and 5 and ultimately wished we'd just played the full game from the start.
New review logos!
Great review

Just subtract three from anything higher than three.
Wow, the D6 mistake is sooo unprofessional...
Looks like Jeff Bezos' rocket.

I thought he meant he would also half the numbers 1 to 3, meaning 1=1, 2=1, 3=2, 4=2, 5=3, 6=3?
@@canice he said 5=2 though
