  • Today, Ian and Mikey take a look into the LTDx LS Long Drive Head.
    The standard LTDx is one of TXG’s most popular heads this year and now, Ian has a chance to try the lower lofted 5.5-degree head.
    The 5.5-degree head is the driver that is used by some of the fastest players on the planet. Kyle Berkshire, the 2x World Long Drive Champion, won his 7th Pro Long Drive win, using his COBRA LTDx LS driver.
    Let’s see what happens when Ian gives a very low lofted head a gamble!

    A valid reason to bring Drew Back. His speed is a good justification to use a club like this. If not pretty sure you lads can find a few chaps in comments who can also reach these speeds.

    Hi, This is a bit awkward. I live in England. But my Dad Lives in Canada. I arranged for him to visit your place in Toronto and get fitted. This was back in April. He was fitted with €3200 worth of xxio clubs. He was delight with the fitting service and I was happy to pay.
    He has received most of the clubs. However as of Aug 16 he is still waiting for two of the clubs.
    I have periodically emailed TXG. I am not getting any information.
    I am still waiting for a response to the last email I sent.
    I am resorting to commenting on you video as a last resort. I don’t know what arose to do.
    Shocking lack of communication, expectation management, bordering on out and out rude.

      The golf club supply worldwide is incredibly slow at the moment and it's well known to be the case. It's not uncommon to be waiting 6 or 7 months to get a set of irons, or custom driver due to certain shafts, grips and heads being out of stock worldwide. So I would just relax and wait if I was you, instead of deliberately trying to call them out in a youtube comment to embarrass them into some kind of public response. Especially when I'd be very confident that, other than replying to your email to say there's nothing they can do, that's there's nothing they can do and you'll just have to wait

    Ian. Your comment around the 2:15 mark about Retail clubhead a being tested at 125MPH swing speed are durable until about 3000 shots. Are you saying that for players swinging around the 125range that they should be replacing their driver every 3000 shots in order to avoid a performance decrease due to durability issues?

    • @paulhuppmann8910
      @paulhuppmann8910 2 роки тому +2

      I am around that speed and hit a lot of balls what I have found is that performance actually gets better right before the head breaks (face cracks) because the face gets thinner which actually increases ball speed but when you crack a driver you can usually get a free replacement if it was just simply a product failure.

    There is not a big difference in scoring from 300 to 320. Jim Furyk shot 58 and 59 on PGA tour. Rory hits it 350 every hole and only wins 2 times a year. I say once you can hit it 300 yards just work on making putts.
