Your comparison demos are positively fantastic, top-tier quality - very appreciated, sir! I have a miniK47; outstanding so far on my (bass-heavy) voice, guitar cabs, 12-string and dreadnought acoustics. Now I want a mini K67x and a K87 to decide which pair to roll with. Right now the K67X 'sings' to me most.
Dang- surprised that more folks didn't comment! loved the comparisons - loved the warm to warmer approach. Well done! I have the 67X and thinking of grabbing a 47 or 47x to compliment. Which would you choose? Thanks for any sort of reply...
87 is a little cleaner/flatter. 67X has a transformer so it can give you saturation if you push it. That might be the better choice but both are great!
Perfect!!!! Exactly what I wanted this guitar to sound like. The other set sounded fantastic but this is more “vintage” sounding on neck and middle, and humbucker on bridge.

Amazing. Not a single bad mic in that lot, obviously some differences but all sound great!
I agree!! All are perfectly usable sounds!
Great comparison. Thank for this!

Man this all sound great makes choosing very hard. What would you recommend for some aggressive 90s style vocals? I'm leaning towards a 67x or 87

How do you like the current Zexcoils vs the Zexcoils you had before?
