I'm a fan of Sandara since SCQ days up until now that she has a name in both Philippines and Korea. I remember her "krung krung" days of what we called her in PH. But going back of how she started her journey in the Philippines is hard. Got teary eyed while watching this but its inspiring too. She proved that she can really be a star and so she did. She made it big in the Philippines and now in Korea. She even mentioned in an intervie in Korea that she is better at speaking Tagalog than in Korean and that makes me love her more. I was grade 3 when I had a first Korean classmate. I admit, weird pa dati ang Koreans kasi nga wala namang idea ang Pinoy sa Koreans noon, but eventually we got used to having 2 or 3 Korean classmates. Para rin silang typical students, some are bright and friendly some are too timid to talk and some are even bullies themselves. And at lunch time, madalas sila sila ang nagsasama.
In the Philippines, it's so damn common that if you're pretty, you get bullied at school, especially back then. It's even worst if you're good in your studies or you're talented. They think you're showing off, maaaan it's crazy

I can't stand watching her dad, I know is her dad but all the things he did to her... he abandoned them for gambling and other girls, divorced and created a new family and got arrested making dara's downfall popularity in ph for that time, to stop receiving offers so she had to model for a lingerie photoshoot for a magazine that became a scandal and her ph agency didn't renew her contract bcs of that when she was trying to safe her family after the things her dad made, she even ended paying for both of her brothers educations when she finally auditioned and got to be in 2ne1

I remember watching her in SCQ and I was instantly charmed by her. She was like the breath of fresh for she was different from the rest of the contestants. I am just so proud of her now.
