To be fair, Sandara never guested here and agreed only because of Pacquiao. She also had so much fun and translated really well. Sandara is a gem in the Philippines. We love her. She is really famous here in the Philippines. Even in far flung areas she is known.

@@jeongin006 I promise, being fluent is NOT enough to be a good translator 😭 I was raised speaking Spanish within a large Argentinian community and doing the kid translation thing occasionally for my mom and grandparents. I don’t think my Spanish is weak but I’m not a great translator *at all.* I mostly only get a general vibe across when translating in either direction and it’s honestly really hard for me to understand either one very well when I’m being asked to comprehend switches between the two in an inorganic way? Like Spanish or little interjections are an everyday occurrence but to go from one Spanish sentence to three English ones to two Spanish ones - it’s like I’m not hearing either side fully 🥴 if Dara did really well, she must have really dedicated herself when learning Tagalog

Yup! Just want to share, Sandara used to live in the Philippines for 10 years and was exposed to Filipino speakers (whether it's polite or in casual form) :). I think that's why it was easy for her to switch Filipino to Hangul.

What I like about this episode is that they put on guests that actually Pacman fans and really knows something about boxing so that it wouldn't be that awkward for Manny. This is true. The Pacquiao family is very generous with their blessings. My cousin used to work as an EMT in Pacquiao's subdivision's emergency service. Every time my cousin went to Pacquiao's house he was always given money. The same goes when my cousin would play basketball against Pacquiao in the subdivision's basketball court. My cousin tries to refuse but Manny says "Just keep it" and doesn't take no for an answer. I suppose when you're generous, you make space for even more blessings.
