Devourer of Gods is such an unexpectedly tough fight for where it's placed in progression, and it's largely because of how much of a movement skillcheck he is - if you don't have full understanding of your movement and how to time dashes and jumps, death is a guarantee. I've played Infernum several times, and I've probably spent more combined time fighting DoG than any other fight - even Yharon and the Exo Mechs took less time for me.
Not try to be some weird type, but this is I REPEAT THIS IS THE BEST Terraria mod multiplayer. The amount of stress, the scream, the relief, the rage. Wow, so honest and so purely enjoying 🥰

My friend carried me through the first half of Infernum and then I regained my old terraria skill and was on even footing with him, one of my best moments fr.
Ahh yes the odd mushrooms and magic conch (in our case Shell Phone). The same items that me and my friends needed as our last resort tactic against DoG.
i remember watching this when i was doing a revengeance playthrough thinking “yeah right this cant be that hard” today i beat skeletron after 70 attempts.
Remember that Ki Class you played like 2 years ago? you should revisit it with calamity (there is more forms to the base mod and u should add the dragon ball calamity addon it ads Ultra Instinct, Perfected Ultra Instinct, Ultra Ego (manga form for vegeta).
I WAS going to watch this as I played through the mod so I didn't spoil some of the new attack patterns, but luckily multiplayer is so chaotic I couldn't tell what was happening for the bosses I hadn't fought yet lol.
I did the same strat for DOG when I was doing my mage run. I used conch shell and teleport potion to stall for time for me to use my teleporter to another far away location to use nurse for heal.
35 minutes later all the long rants or long conversations that i get interested get edited short or the video would be way longer and lesser viewers will watch all the way till the end meaning less money @Adrian if youve taken time to read this despite my poor grammar thank you and do you have a channel with a longer version of the series available on a patron or similar website if so ill subscribe for that longer content even if its a fee if i can afford it. thank you for your time if you took the time to read this far (for anyone reading).
