@@cristianocolangelo9920 Eh their last album is pretty mid, but still love the band and do find some of their new stuff, especially tear gas for some reason, enjoyable
Whispers of your Death by Counterparts gets me almost every time. Almost lost my lil kitty recently and was in a dark place, so that song really hit home for me.
Invent Animate - Fireside. The song that resonates with me, as I subconciously link it with my dads heart infarction in 2021. Especially the part "there is no warmth without you" screamed right before the most beautiful tapping EVER makes me cry every single time. I love this band and especially this song to death.
The last song that made me cry and still does is actually Skin and Bones by Fit for a King; the lyrics are relatable to me and I can’t hold back tears after singing and listening to it. Great song by Currents btw; I was worried when hearing the intro because of how similar it was to The Death We Seek but So Alone gave me this Melodeath vibe that I enjoy so much.
Whispers of Your Death by Counterparts. We just lost one of our dogs recently, and knowing what that song is about just cuts straight to the bone when I hear it.
Lost by LP made me cry my heart out recently. Hearing Chester’s voice was so nostalgic and made me remember of some rough times I was going through when I was discovering LP.
Chris is an amazing songwriter and his production is getting better and better. The work he's doing in both Currents and SOI is incredible. Seriously underrated
If Bury Tomorrow don't completely blow me away in 7 hours Currents will have to bottle hard for me to not expect their album to be my personal AOTY. 3 amazing singles so far and already liking So Alone more with every listen
@Operation: Heavener I slightly rephrased it now. My AOTY is just the album at the end of the year I liked the most. That's by definition just one per year. I make no claim to have any musical knowledge that informs my opinion. It's just what I like. If you read enough comments on enough videos you'll find every album called AOTY by one "Metalcore kid", which doesn't mean everyone says that about every album and I'm kinda shocked I have to explain that. And personally my favorite bands are Bury Tomorrow and Currents, so their albums are my obvious candidates for MY aoty
@Operation: Heavener Unfortunately "best piece of art" is impossible to define depending on what variables are how important to each person For example some people would say "The Way It Ends" has a cohesive sound and that's good, some people would say the tracks sound similar and that's bad. As I have no background in music I don't even pretend to have a grasp of things like musical proficiency or how much something pushed a genre etc. so I just go with what sounds good and is entertaining. In the end you just seem upset that someone doesn't consider Heavener their likely AOTY, but for every argument you make why it should be I could find another person with musical proficiency who can make an argument for a different album. It's pointless
@@the_beemer I have a feeling Bury tomorrow will have more hidden gems as bangers that are the rest of the new album. I’m counting down the seconds until release.
the last song that made me cry is Twelve Omaha Solemn Certainty by Gatherers some of the most moving emotive lyrics I‘ve ever heard, cant help but tear up to it frequently
Last song I cried was Trapped by TDWP. And there's not many songs that did that to me. I really enjoy the chorus on this one, it feels busy but yet open and big in some ways. Might be my favorite single. Can't wait for this album to drop!
The only two songs that have ever really got me emotional are both from Breaking Benjamin: Unknown Soldier and Dear Agony. Lyrics hit different with them
I cry nearly every time I listen Firstborn and Panic Room by Silent Planet... Those lyrics and the emotion man... Unmatched. Also, King Park by La Dispute gets me going too.
Last song that made me cry was Lost by Linkin Park. I miss Chester. That song made me feel like Chester was still with us, and LP brought back the old sound.
Oh man, lots of tear jerker music has been in my rotation lately. "This is What It's Like" and "Realize and Rebuild" by Boundaries for sure, but "Without a Whisper" from the new IA album is probably the most recent.
QOTD: Probably Invent Animate - Without a Whisper, I didn't really cry but the sad was there. I cried to Too Close To Touch - Eiley after reading the lyrics tho, and I can't listen to that song anymore without breaking
Labyrinthine most recently got me good so many hard lines like “even knowing love I would stray, no matter the bond between, swallowed by the overgrowth” and “now in this meadow of acceptance I feel the earth beneath me when I look in your eyes” just get me love invent easily my favorite track off heavener
Really enjoyed this Currents song it’s pretty sick To answer the qotd I’m not sure I can’t realy remember but the most recent we came as romans album has made me cry a lot
lol i actually remember that spesific "currents - kill the ache" reaction video where you literally felt the song and cried. I still cry to that song though, can't get over it.
Watching the video of Coming Down by FFDP for the first time made me tear up for sure. NF - How could you leave us as well, that shit hits hard. Bad Life - Sigrid ft. BMTH got to me as well
masterpiece by miw definitely made me cry when i watched Wyatt Stav's reaction. just so well made and Chris and the boys put a ton of heart into that song
Please do Predestination Paradox by Like Moths To Flames! They’re touring with Currents in the coming months. Love the videos. My playlists are filled with songs heard here first.
(please ignore the fact that QOTD graphic in the beginning is different from the actual QOTD - I edited this very late and I wanted to sleep *cries*)
Technically this track also made you cry:D
The last song that made me cry was "If Tomorrow Never Comes" by Wage War. Reminds me of my grandpa who passed a few years ago
Currents has become my favorite band over the past few years. R.I.P. architects. We’ve grown apart
I don't wanna talk about it.....
yep
Are you me?

Totally agree with that Skin & Bones song, what a phenomenal song.

This single is the chefs kiss 🤌🏻
Lost by LP made me cry my heart out recently. Hearing Chester’s voice was so nostalgic and made me remember of some rough times I was going through when I was discovering LP.

This song is majestic
Last song was Reverie- invent animate
damn those lows were nasty
This song was awesome. I get to see these guys live in May :)
Is It Really You by Loathe is my dedicated tear fountain song.
Whispers of your death by counterparts always brings a tear after he screams “make your cancer mine”. Hits different man
I think a Currents and Invent, Animate collab would blow the scene
Enjoyed how you were talking about Brian’s vocals leveling up right before he dropped those killer lows
Northlanes “Rift” acoustic version almost did
I was cutting onions to Thy Art Is Murder once, does that count?
the last song that made me cry fully was Trapped by The Devil Wears Prada. Recently I teared up to Withour a Whisper by Invent Animate
Literally cannot miss 🔥
Constance from Spiritbox, first time I watched the video for I had tear rolling.
Yeh...been there as well.
Heaviest single yet. Fantastic.
Full cry is First Father by Silent Planet
Architects - Gone With The Wind will never not make me cry
Also I'M SO HYPED FOR THIS ALBUM WTF
That is definitely a really beautiful and emotional song, Sam's voice hits hard
The only two songs that have ever really got me emotional are both from Breaking Benjamin: Unknown Soldier and Dear Agony. Lyrics hit different with them
Remember Me and kill the ache feel like a gut punch every time I listen to them
I never noticed this video was being filmed during the Vader and Obi-wan’s duel on Mustafar… huh, whodve thought..
i like the new layout!!!!!
By far the best metalcore band right now.
Invent Animate tho?
@@ToreNight currents vocal are miles ahead of IA

Some of their best work. Consistent and amazing live as well. Been a fan since the beginning.
I teared up a couple of times on ‘Is it really you’, the cover done by Sleeptoken to be clear.
Burial Plot by Dayseeker has made me cry at certain times lol

The dark pool from Thornhill. I don't really remember the context but I believe i was sad lol
Fit for a King - Debts of the soul 😢😢
Currents is one of my favorite fucking bands. God. I love them. Haha. They are SICK live to!!
I almost cry everytime I listen to Is It Really You? by Loathe
It’s very breaking Benjamin for me, not sure why, maybe chorus ?
When has Breaking Benjamin ever sounded like this lol
This song fucking rips. Currents is definitely up there on my playlist.
Very Heavy and Heavenly song
Don't often cry listening to songs but Spiritbox - Constance
Last song I cried to was Lost. Linkin Park will always hold a special place in my heart and that song hit HARD

Lots of Amity songs make me cry
I have cried my eyes out with almost every song by these guys
No song has ever actually made me cry… but the closest is probably gone with the wind - architects
That one live version especially!
Mate, the live performance in the Holy Ghost documentary made me cry out loud. Still waters my eyes thinking about watching it for the first time
arms length - family and friends
Penance by Holding Absence was the last song to make me shed a tear!
QOTD: Probably Invent Animate - Without a Whisper, I didn't really cry but the sad was there. I cried to Too Close To Touch - Eiley after reading the lyrics tho, and I can't listen to that song anymore without breaking
Yes, Eiley is a hard song to listen to. I have a similar experience with Casey - Little Bird. That song just hits me differently
@@lolrumbuutu Yeah, that whole album by Casey is an absolute masterpiece. I'm so glad they are back
the last song that made me amotional was problably Donna by Darko Us
Current is my favorite band of all time, I seriously cannot wait for this album.
This album is shaping up to possibly top the way it ends
Idk it’s too short.
Big calls but I'll fuck w/that
I cried to most songs on Heavener. Tears of joy
Beneath My Skin by Tesseract gets me every time.
Personally, Tourniquet by TesseracT is SUPER emotional
My grave / lay with me - Paleface
The fuckin video for Spiritbox - Constance and It's Only Smiles by Periphery
Idk if its me but the spotify version of the song has kinda strange mix? Everything is like lower in volume there
yep the spotify version is kinda bad lol
2 stand out of me over the years without me-day seeker and Another You- of mice of men

Void Surfacing from the new Invent Animate album gets me in my feels. Them lyrics 🤧
The last song that made me cry was „Paralyzed” by Landmvrks and it’s still quite emotional one. Also „Go for broke” by Glassslands
Happiness by the Kilowatt by Alexisonfire is the only song for me that gets the waterworks flowing.
Invent Animate - Elysium
It touches some strings...
Like moth to flames reaction when?? ❤❤❤❤
After the burial just dropped a new song last night too
Really enjoyed this Currents song it’s pretty sick
To answer the qotd I’m not sure I can’t realy remember but the most recent we came as romans album has made me cry a lot
Without a whisper by invent, after finding out the meaning it just hits that much harder, especially since im so close to my grandparents.
Song of the year already for me! What a banger!💣❤️🖤
Meine tränen by rammstein is heavy when you understand the lyrics
I definitely cried at Spirit Boxs Constance, but the most recent song I more teared up then cried, but it was Invent Animates Emberglow.
Without a Whisper is the last song that made me emotional
lol i actually remember that spesific "currents - kill the ache" reaction video where you literally felt the song and cried. I still cry to that song though, can't get over it.
Lost in Our Own World by Acres still hits me like a truck every time
They started out as a djenty deathcore band, it's nice to see the lower growls making a comeback because it was getting a bit stale otherwise
Counterparts - Whispers of your death
Watching the video of Coming Down by FFDP for the first time made me tear up for sure. NF - How could you leave us as well, that shit hits hard. Bad Life - Sigrid ft. BMTH got to me as well
Oh that Kill The Ache reaction.
