@@cristianocolangelo9920 Eh their last album is pretty mid, but still love the band and do find some of their new stuff, especially tear gas for some reason, enjoyable
Invent Animate - Fireside. The song that resonates with me, as I subconciously link it with my dads heart infarction in 2021. Especially the part "there is no warmth without you" screamed right before the most beautiful tapping EVER makes me cry every single time. I love this band and especially this song to death.
The last song that made me cry and still does is actually Skin and Bones by Fit for a King; the lyrics are relatable to me and I can’t hold back tears after singing and listening to it. Great song by Currents btw; I was worried when hearing the intro because of how similar it was to The Death We Seek but So Alone gave me this Melodeath vibe that I enjoy so much.
Whispers of your Death by Counterparts gets me almost every time. Almost lost my lil kitty recently and was in a dark place, so that song really hit home for me.
Chris is an amazing songwriter and his production is getting better and better. The work he's doing in both Currents and SOI is incredible. Seriously underrated
If Bury Tomorrow don't completely blow me away in 7 hours Currents will have to bottle hard for me to not expect their album to be my personal AOTY. 3 amazing singles so far and already liking So Alone more with every listen
@Operation: Heavener I slightly rephrased it now. My AOTY is just the album at the end of the year I liked the most. That's by definition just one per year. I make no claim to have any musical knowledge that informs my opinion. It's just what I like. If you read enough comments on enough videos you'll find every album called AOTY by one "Metalcore kid", which doesn't mean everyone says that about every album and I'm kinda shocked I have to explain that. And personally my favorite bands are Bury Tomorrow and Currents, so their albums are my obvious candidates for MY aoty
@Operation: Heavener Unfortunately "best piece of art" is impossible to define depending on what variables are how important to each person For example some people would say "The Way It Ends" has a cohesive sound and that's good, some people would say the tracks sound similar and that's bad. As I have no background in music I don't even pretend to have a grasp of things like musical proficiency or how much something pushed a genre etc. so I just go with what sounds good and is entertaining. In the end you just seem upset that someone doesn't consider Heavener their likely AOTY, but for every argument you make why it should be I could find another person with musical proficiency who can make an argument for a different album. It's pointless
@@2sthimo449 I have a feeling Bury tomorrow will have more hidden gems as bangers that are the rest of the new album. I’m counting down the seconds until release.
Whispers of Your Death by Counterparts. We just lost one of our dogs recently, and knowing what that song is about just cuts straight to the bone when I hear it.
Lost by LP made me cry my heart out recently. Hearing Chester’s voice was so nostalgic and made me remember of some rough times I was going through when I was discovering LP.
Last song I cried was Trapped by TDWP. And there's not many songs that did that to me. I really enjoy the chorus on this one, it feels busy but yet open and big in some ways. Might be my favorite single. Can't wait for this album to drop!
QOTD: Probably Invent Animate - Without a Whisper, I didn't really cry but the sad was there. I cried to Too Close To Touch - Eiley after reading the lyrics tho, and I can't listen to that song anymore without breaking
the last song that made me cry is Twelve Omaha Solemn Certainty by Gatherers some of the most moving emotive lyrics I‘ve ever heard, cant help but tear up to it frequently
I cry nearly every time I listen Firstborn and Panic Room by Silent Planet... Those lyrics and the emotion man... Unmatched. Also, King Park by La Dispute gets me going too.
Last song that made me cry was Lost by Linkin Park. I miss Chester. That song made me feel like Chester was still with us, and LP brought back the old sound.
The only two songs that have ever really got me emotional are both from Breaking Benjamin: Unknown Soldier and Dear Agony. Lyrics hit different with them
Labyrinthine most recently got me good so many hard lines like “even knowing love I would stray, no matter the bond between, swallowed by the overgrowth” and “now in this meadow of acceptance I feel the earth beneath me when I look in your eyes” just get me love invent easily my favorite track off heavener
did anyone notice the question of the day he asked and the one that came up on screen didn't match? lol no biggy, still absolutely love this channel. If anything it just left me wondering what the answer that came up in text would be now. keep rockin brother \m/
lol i actually remember that spesific "currents - kill the ache" reaction video where you literally felt the song and cried. I still cry to that song though, can't get over it.
Oh man, lots of tear jerker music has been in my rotation lately. "This is What It's Like" and "Realize and Rebuild" by Boundaries for sure, but "Without a Whisper" from the new IA album is probably the most recent.
I saw The Wonder Years live the other day and their song Laura & The Beehive made me cry. It’s about Soupy’s grandmother and how he wishes he could just call her and speak to her again, so that hit considering my grandma passed under a year ago.
bleed from within’s ‘paradise’ made me cry bad. it was a case of everything bad that could’ve happened happened all at once. that song now means so much to me, and is now my second favorite BLW song, next to temple of lunacy.
Last song i cried to was probably ERRA's Nigh to silence. The intro got me, it was just too beautiful singing from Jesse! Also teared up a bit on Invent animate - Without a whisper, which must be my favorite song so far this year!
Easier to Run, from Linkin Park, is the first song that made me cry. Lover, You Should Have Come Over, from Jeff Buckley is the song that made me cry the most in life. And The Ponytail Parades, from Emery, is the song that hurt the most for me. Also, the last song that made me cry was Monochrome, from Babymetal.
Kill the ache by Currents is the last song that made me cry. Constance by Spiritbox is really emotional to me and Breaking Down by I prevail make me cry often but I haven't listened to it recently
The last song that make me cry was They Move Below - Meshuggah, its weird i know, but that song hits me hard in a whole other musician marksmanship level. Sorry, my english is nor good at all. Greetings from argentina!
Last song that made me teary-eyed was probably If I'm There by Bad Omens, it just hit really hard for me at the time. I'll be entirely honest, I'm not super optimistic about this new album. Remember Me is great, but the rest of the singles are just alright to me. The riffs feel somewhat uninspiring to me, and I really don't like the mixing on these new songs. Guitars sound fizzy and drums sound too plastic-y for my liking. But who knows, maybe the rest of the album will be better.
Currents has become my favorite band over the past few years. R.I.P. architects. We’ve grown apart
I don't wanna talk about it.....
yep
Are you me?
@@cristianocolangelo9920 Eh their last album is pretty mid, but still love the band and do find some of their new stuff, especially tear gas for some reason, enjoyable
@Operation: Heavener Voyeurist was a fantastic redemption arc tho.
(please ignore the fact that QOTD graphic in the beginning is different from the actual QOTD - I edited this very late and I wanted to sleep *cries*)
Technically this track also made you cry:D
The last song that made me cry was "If Tomorrow Never Comes" by Wage War. Reminds me of my grandpa who passed a few years ago
currents - better days, damn that song literally just hit me in the feels
Invent Animate - Fireside.

Totally agree with that Skin & Bones song, what a phenomenal song.

This single is the chefs kiss 🤌🏻
Whispers of Your Death by Counterparts. We just lost one of our dogs recently, and knowing what that song is about just cuts straight to the bone when I hear it.
Last song that made me cry: The ghost in side - Aftermath! When the Video dropped I was legit crying
Lost by LP made me cry my heart out recently. Hearing Chester’s voice was so nostalgic and made me remember of some rough times I was going through when I was discovering LP.
the last song that made me cry fully was Trapped by The Devil Wears Prada. Recently I teared up to Withour a Whisper by Invent Animate
Lorna Shore - Pain Remains 1: Dancing Like Flames, cause that music video is gut wrenching
Enjoyed how you were talking about Brian’s vocals leveling up right before he dropped those killer lows
nervous by while she sleeps and madre by thecityisours have both me made cry

I really enjoy the chorus on this one, it feels busy but yet open and big in some ways. Might be my favorite single. Can't wait for this album to drop!
I was cutting onions to Thy Art Is Murder once, does that count?
QOTD: Probably Invent Animate - Without a Whisper, I didn't really cry but the sad was there. I cried to Too Close To Touch - Eiley after reading the lyrics tho, and I can't listen to that song anymore without breaking
Yes, Eiley is a hard song to listen to. I have a similar experience with Casey - Little Bird. That song just hits me differently
@@lolrumbuutu Yeah, that whole album by Casey is an absolute masterpiece. I'm so glad they are back
It’s very breaking Benjamin for me, not sure why, maybe chorus ?
Time, The Valuator - When I Meet Death hit me like a truck the first time I heard it.

damn those lows were nasty
Architects - Gone With The Wind will never not make me cry
Also I'M SO HYPED FOR THIS ALBUM WTF
That is definitely a really beautiful and emotional song, Sam's voice hits hard
This song was awesome. I get to see these guys live in May :)
Whispers of your death by counterparts always brings a tear after he screams “make your cancer mine”. Hits different man
Sleep token makes me feel 🦋🦋🦋... The first time i remember, all chills and tiers... He know how hipnotize me
I'm getting joy out of these guys like I got joy out of All That Remains back in the day
By far the best metalcore band right now.
Invent Animate tho?
@@ToreNight currents vocal are miles ahead of IA
phinehas.
Is It Really You by Loathe is my dedicated tear fountain song.
Remember Me and kill the ache feel like a gut punch every time I listen to them
Last song that made me cry was Lost by Linkin Park. I miss Chester. That song made me feel like Chester was still with us, and LP brought back the old sound.
I almost cry everytime I listen to Is It Really You? by Loathe
No song has ever actually made me cry… but the closest is probably gone with the wind - architects
That one live version especially!
Mate, the live performance in the Holy Ghost documentary made me cry out loud. Still waters my eyes thinking about watching it for the first time
The only two songs that have ever really got me emotional are both from Breaking Benjamin: Unknown Soldier and Dear Agony. Lyrics hit different with them
Holy shit I was not expecting this
Void Surfacing from the new Invent Animate album gets me in my feels. Them lyrics 🤧
I think a Currents and Invent, Animate collab would blow the scene
Constance from Spiritbox, first time I watched the video for I had tear rolling.
Yeh...been there as well.
Northlanes “Rift” acoustic version almost did

Currents is one of my favorite fucking bands. God. I love them. Haha. They are SICK live to!!
Oh man, lots of tear jerker music has been in my rotation lately. "This is What It's Like" and "Realize and Rebuild" by Boundaries for sure, but "Without a Whisper" from the new IA album is probably the most recent.
Without a whisper by invent, after finding out the meaning it just hits that much harder, especially since im so close to my grandparents.
After the burial just dropped a new song last night too
I teared up a couple of times on ‘Is it really you’, the cover done by Sleeptoken to be clear.
Literally cannot miss 🔥
This album is shaping up to possibly top the way it ends
Idk it’s too short.
Big calls but I'll fuck w/that
This song fucking rips. Currents is definitely up there on my playlist.
Fit for a King - Debts of the soul 😢😢
Don't often cry listening to songs but Spiritbox - Constance
They started out as a djenty deathcore band, it's nice to see the lower growls making a comeback because it was getting a bit stale otherwise
Cancer and Trapped, the TDWP song duo that absolutely broke me especially being able to relate to cancer and the thought behind the lyrics
I saw The Wonder Years live the other day and their song Laura & The Beehive made me cry. It’s about Soupy’s grandmother and how he wishes he could just call her and speak to her again, so that hit considering my grandma passed under a year ago.
One of the saddest songs I’ve ever heard is “let me in” by Make Them Suffer. That song just hits so hard
Without a Whisper is the last song that made me emotional
The last song that made me cry was Loose Threads by Hollow Front. The lyrics hit me so hard.

I always tear up to Never Said Goodbye by Wage War, hits close to home with my grandparents/grandparent in-laws.
Lost in Our Own World by Acres still hits me like a truck every time
