Saw them live in Atlanta some months ago. Their vocalist is incredibly talented and has such a wide range it's insane. Live, both guitars helped with backing vocals
You guys are growing! 80k subscriber is remarkable. Congrats!! I'm arround here since the 20k and I'm really happy to being able to see the progress! All the support here from Brazil, keep on the good content!!
His voice and the vibe of the chorus remember me of BLINDED COLONY back in like 2002 with songs like ''Once Bitten, Twice Shy'' and ''In here'', check this out :) Great content guys
Great reaction young fellas!!! that riff was found on the dirty/seedy part of Chunktown, i had 5 minutes of resting poop face!! love your channel , love you guys!! Nath , keep that moustache a grown' , I'm an old guy that grew up on 70's -80's porn and i dig the look!!!
Just a little more to 100k guys! Currents is a great band, I'll keep hearing new songs on Spotify that are bangers, and when I look to see who it is, it's Currents. As for songs I hate, I can't say I dislike anything just because it's played a bunch. I might put certain things on a backburner for a while, but I'll always go back to it, even if I've listened to it 1000 times.
Johnny saying it reminds him of someone. It reminded me of Rise Against. Not sure if they're cosidered nu metal though. But the cleans reminded me of the lead singer of Rise Against.
Tyou guys for this great reaction on this song. Please dont hate me for my earlier comment about ur sleep token shirt. I didnt meant to be an ass! Love you guys for a long time now❤️
The Currents song was awesome! Quite different for them tonally. Couple of annoying overplayed songs (in the UK), Oasis - Wonderwall Stereophonics - Dakota The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger
5:28 Thought the exact same thing when I first heard the track. Haven't been able to pinpoint what band, but definitely in the Chevelle area of alt metal. Decent radio track. Think the melodies are kind of boring though. Still, wish the Currents boys all the best.
All of the singles sound very similar. Death We Seek is still by far the best single imo. But from what I heard for this album Currents have some huge non single bangers hidden in the album.
Come on Eileen, way over played, and really just a weird song, but still love it. Absolutely hate Sweet Caroline (and Neil Diamond in general) his music it’s as close to intolerable as music can get to me. here in the states Sweet Caroline is played everywhere, weddings, sporting events, in the checkout line in the supermarket. It’s so terrible
for be this is a bit too generic if you're gonna gofor the generic more older metalcore you might aswel double dip into the older style kinda like in flames does, They are unique, But still have their own sound. This song sounds like soooo many other song's i've heard before. I guess polyphia and sleep token have ruined music for me ^^ in a good way ofc.
In Flames hasn't been able to make new shit in 20 years that fans don't just dump on. The only thing In Flames has done this decade that anyone gives a damn about is 'something that sounds like their first few albums'. They're not generic in that they sound like other bands. They're generic in that they have literally not been able to come up with new ideas without everyone hating them profusely. You can dislike something and personally think it sounds generic, but really.. that's just your opinion.
I would describe his voice as emotive, both growls and cleans. Bloody fantastic.
YO! Congrats on 80,000 Subscribers!!! Happy to be a small part of that huge number. Much love boys 💙💙💙

Yeaaa saw them on their headlining tour and he literally sounds like he does on the albums.
absolutelly beautiful......Metal Masterpiece ! that voice is incredible
Thanks
grow that stash like a boss. i fucking love being part of the party people. your vids are the shit.
This is definitely my favorite single from the new album. I hope there’s more like it on the album!
The clean singing gives me real Tim McIlrath vibes from Rise Against
Currents are just my fav. band right now. Can't wait for the album. :)
Best band in the world
You guys are growing! 80k subscriber is remarkable. Congrats!!

Thanks a ton!
Currents never disappoint
This bands album when it comes out and Bury Tomorrow for album of the year it just has to be!
Love the stash and the song!!
His voice and the vibe of the chorus remember me of BLINDED COLONY back in like 2002 with songs like ''Once Bitten, Twice Shy'' and ''In here'', check this out :) Great content guys

Johnny always wears a nice cap. Never disappoints.
Congrats on the 80,000 subs 😁
This song gave me miss may I vibes
Currents can do no wrong!!!

I think his voice to me is like the guy from mice and men
Amd honestly this is probably my favorite song right now.
Johnny saying it reminds him of someone. It reminded me of Rise Against. Not sure if they're cosidered nu metal though. But the cleans reminded me of the lead singer of Rise Against.
Please do a podcast that would be awesome
5:51 Northlane?
your nails are looking good!
Agreed with everything Nathan said until he got to Cake... Cake is a vibe.
It’s called layering. He essentially records the same parts, but one time in singing, other in guttural
Please check out “Kill the ache”!
I think of the guy from Rise Against when I hear his voice

No hate at all 🖤
As I Lay dying vibes
Hollow Fronts vocalist
Mustaches are in, and yours is majestic. Only people who hate on them are those who cannot grow one 🤘🏻
His cleans sound a bit like Rise Against
Thats what I thought too!
Better days particularly reminds me of the vocalist of Rise Against like ALOT. Sometimes he sounds like the breaking Benjamin dude too.
Nath, in hockey slang the mustache is known as a lip sweater.
Love that
His cleans kind of remind me of Bury Tomorrow
The new album is a banger
The cleans kinda remind me of Miss May I's clean vocalist
Nathan… what are your thoughts on Mexican Radio by wall of voodoo?
Also teenage dirtbag by wheatus?
Any plan to listen the band dark divine? Love the vids you guys make my day
Love the content! If yous get chance Listen to more ‘from ashes to new’ big up party people 🎉
Similar to A Day To Remember?.... thats what I'm hearing vocally a bit...
Please listen Wage War - If Tommorow never Comes 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Brooo I just found that song a few days ago and it's one of the best songs I've ever heard
The fact that they spent so long talking about other songs instead of how talented currents are blows my mind.
The Currents song was awesome! Quite different for them tonally.
Couple of annoying overplayed songs (in the UK),
Oasis - Wonderwall
Stereophonics - Dakota
The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger
Yee Yee aah mustache

Decent radio track?
The fuck are you on?
Honestly, you probably shouldn't comment high 🤷
"No rants today, just curRANTS."
"...I quite like that actually..."
😂 gold. Keep up the good work, gents.
I get a rise against vibe on his cleans.
All of the singles sound very similar. Death We Seek is still by far the best single imo. But from what I heard for this album Currents have some huge non single bangers hidden in the album.
The cleans, for me in this song especially have almost a frailty to them. Very masculine voice but still, almost an undertone of the frailty to them
ua-cam.com/video/hZxfgX0D5Qw/v-deo.html CROSSFADE??
I like the cover of "my Sharona" by The Number 12 Looks Like You
His voice reminds me of Breaking Benjamin at times
"pooty195" To be fair, the chorus of The Death We Seek is similar to The Diary Of Jane. Both great songs
React to
As Oceans Devouer - Leviathan
Great first song from this new band 🤘
Have you ever heard of Nightwish "Ghost love score"?
Can you guys react to SYLOSIS- Deadwood
Hey Soul Sister by Train.

Also, Polyphia isn't that unique.
Instrumental, noodly bands have existed for decades.
They're practically a TikTok band at this point.
