When she dances, its for our creator. The ceremonial dresses seem to have magic! Her feet caress the mother earth. Its grace and dignity that no other race has! Whites blacks latinas, it seem they dance for , not for the creator. This Lady blesses everyone with her dress her dance and her presence! She tickles me she tries so hard not to look at a camera, then she will sneak a peek when she thinks no one's looking.
This is so beautiful. I wish i could learn jingle dancing. I lost out on the culture - my father never told us he had a different father than we knew about. Offcoure we always wondered why he looked so different than the rest..and why he had an American middle name and his brother not.. It was after his death we were told about it. We started to dig to find out more but it was kept as a secret for over 65 years - but we found some information.. later when i took a DNA test it revealed that my grandfather was of indigenous origin. Sadly i have no name - no nothing to go after.. but from the little we found it does sound like we are part Lakota and also inuitt/ canadian indigenous.. I wish i knew this earlier.. my father aws born in 1933so there is not much to find... But i will try to check out a couple things that MAY be a lead... i want to get involved in the culture but think i need to know what tribe " i belong" to first.
