I cried a lot during Shadowbringer, but I only cried once during Endwalker, and that was when Urianger reunites with Moenbryda's parents. T^T

I honestly feel like them paring down the quests really messed up her character arc. Like you get her for three quests now and I honestly didn't care that she died up to the moment Urianger walked in and Minfillia has to break the news and I felt a crack not for Moenbryda but for Urianger because yea, I didn't know her well but this was Urianger's BEST FRIEND and now she's gone. Like I actually went to see him in the Waking Sands and wondered if he maybe would go "Do not worry, I shalt be well but I thank thee for thy care and concern"
And then yea, I teared up when he reunites with her parents and THAT is when I cared she died.

The best wingman. Everyone always goes to Urianger for advice/wisdom (even some antagonists) due to his personality. I can only imagine the weight he shoulders as everyone always confides in him for help with making tough, life-changing decisions. There were times in the story where I had thought he'd gone rogue because of his actions. I feel that Urianger is the most dangerous scion (with Y'shtola right behind him) because knowledge truly is power.
    Nice Vid ^^

      Very well said.
      MINOR SPOILERS FOR 6.55:
The patch leading to Dawntrail hinting that best dad and best uncle are contracted by a different party makes me so hyped that we might have to go against Urianger and Thancred, at least maybe for a bit.

    the dreadful algebra of necessity…
Endwalker’s greatest tragedy is that i cannot give Urianger the biggest hug my little lala body can muster and tell him he could forgive himself.
god, moen’s parents scene is sooooo heartbreaking with the knowledge that they basically raised urianger too. those are basically his adoptive parents, unable to mourn his adoptive sister with him….

You got me at Urianger... now take my sub before i go see the other Scions! That was quite an interesting watch, thank you!!!

  • @KaminoZan

Kamino has done unsavory things to achieve his goals: kept secrets from others, disguised himself as a dead man to manipulate people, coerced governments through his deeds and glorified recognition for the sake of wielding their power in his own agenda... Who better amongst the Scions to confide in when plans went awry, or succeeded? Who better to share tea in private and discuss his beloved Moenbryda? I like to imagine that Kamino and Urianger, at least in my own story, are each other's closest confidants in the Scions. That scene with the WoL and Urianger on the moon, having a heart-to-heart was lovely.
(I also think Urianger has been the BEST Scion since ARR!)

You have to be the smartest Scion to study Astrology / the stars on a world where they aren't visible.

As a non-native english speaker i literally have such a hard time understanding what the f he is trying to say xDD

    • @thlydd
      @thlydd 10 місяців тому +2

It's okay. For english speakers like myself it's kinda like reading shakespere. You gotta process it a bit before it becomes understandable and the longer you listen the easier it is.

This is so fair. To be sure, there are native English speakers who sometimes struggle with it! Early Modern English is literally the language of Shakespeare, and it might help to read his work and literature from that time (late 16th-early 17th century) to become more familiar with it. It will become second nature the more you read it.

    Amazing video.
Question though, what shaders do you use? Or pack? It looks fantastic.
