Trumpet Hornpipe Accordion Music at the Doric Film Festival

A wee clip of accordion music sent to me by my friend Adam Usmani who was with us at the Doric Film Festival 2022.
The Music is called the Trumpet hornpipe. Also known by the Captain Pugwash tune from the tv program. It's played on a Vignoni accordion with Musictech midi bass. Charlie Abel on Accordion, Fred Wilkinson on the Mandola and one of the teachers from The Big Noise joined us on piano.

Great stuff. Now, I have a vague memory, from 50 years ago, that Alastair Hunter played the original title music for the Pugwash cartoon. Could I be richt, or am I haverin'. Ony ideas Charlie? I mind him playin' the tune for me at the hoose ae nicht fan I wis a wee bairn. Fit ever the truth, the tune ay'wis reminds me o' him 🙂
