Variants: It is offered in a single fully loaded trim: Elegance.
Colours: The Tiguan is available in seven monotone colours: Nightshade Blue, Pure White, Oryx White, Deep Black, Dolphin Grey, Reflex Silver and Kings Red.
Seating Capacity: Volkswagen’s flagship SUV in India can seat up to five people.
Engine and Transmission: The Tiguan uses a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine (190PS/320Nm) mated to a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic) in an all-wheel drivetrain (AWD). After the update, the Tiguan has a claimed fuel efficiency of 13.54kmpl.
Features: Its features list comprises an 8-inch touchscreen system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof and connected car tech. It also gets other features like 3-zone climate control, power-adjustable driver's seat and 30-colour ambient lighting.
Safety: Its safety kit comprises six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring (TPMS), electronic stability control (ESC), hill assist, hill descent control, park assist, a rear-view camera and ISOFIX child-seat mounts.
Rivals: The Tiguan is a rival to the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson, and Citroen C5 Aircross.
