Let me preface this that I am so glad you called the mammoth Kevin, can't believe it catches on. As for your suggestion, I actually tried this a few times with the setscale command. It made him smaller, but his pathfinding was still based on his initial size, so while he was able to move around, he never got close enough to his enemies to land an attack :(

Since you're already using console commands, you could have tried to shrink Kevin when you need him in enclosed spaces.
