DRIVING SCHOOLS TO AFFILIATE TO TEVETA

Driving schools in Lusaka have started registering with the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority -TEVETA.
This follows government's directive, through the Ministry of Technology and Science, that all driving schools should be registered with TEVETA.
And TEVETA Director General, CLEOPHAS TAKAIZA says the move will help in standardizsng the sector.
Mr TAKAIZA says the institution has started engaging the Road Transport and Safety Agency RTSA on the registration of the schools.
Meanwhile, some Driving schools have expressed mixed feeling, over the move to have them register with TEVETA.
