Melioda's special ability is Full Counter, where he returns any magical attack directed at him back to his opponent. He also own a bar but is a terrible cook. That counter bar was fire.
Natsu had the first round but Meliodas came back and destroyed my boy in the second round. That feeling up Elizabeth bar was good but it's a lot weaker when you remember that Liz and Meliodas have been an item for literal reincarnations and they're the only ones with that behavior in the show, whilst Fairy Tail is also guilty of having copious amounts of fan service and pervy behavior, from several of it's characters, to the point of being one of the bigger complaints of that entire show.
I think the feeling up Elizabeth bar works in these earlier clips because at the time no one knew, especially Elizabeth that she was his reincarnated lover. Imagine not knowing that information and some small dude is feeling up some girl he just met.

Fun fact about Meliodas being a pervert, it’s actually meant to clue you into a plot element almost fifty issues before the first overt hints. Now, I’m not going to claim it was a good way of doing it or anything, just going present the intent as I understand it.
Okay, tje short version (I can elaborate if requested) is that by dropping a few clues the viewer is meant to see that Meliodas and Elizabeth have a deep connect that is far to developed to make any sense, yet it isn’t because of bad writing but rather something the material has yet to explain.
The clues: 1, Meliodas is only a perve to Elizabeth and other women don’t resist as sexual beings to his mind. 2. Elizabeth while sometimes shocked by his behavior in the moment, doesn’t actually object to it and even encourages it. 3. Those around them (other than Hawk) don’t regard this behavior as even slightly off or strange. 4. Messing with Elizabeth is Meliodas’s “ya shouldn’ta done that” button. Even in his mindless slaughter demon mode, she is safe. His best friend isn’t, but Elizabeth is.
The basic convulsions are 1. Meliodas isn’t actually a pervert. This behavior is specific to Elizabeth. As if he knew her long before they met. 2. Elizabeth participates in this byplay as if it was entirely natural because unconsciously she knows it is. While not consciously aware of why, she understands it is a sort of affection based game between them. 3. Others doesn’t react because both participants are projecting their own emotional comfort to those around them. No one reacts to Meliodas lifting her skirt because it’s just how they do. 4. The Captain will cross any line when it comes to her safety. This is only reinforced when the truth is learned. Meliodas is the amazing, friendly upstanding guy he is, because that makes her happy. He didn’t turn on his clan because they where evil, or it was the right thing to do. He turned on them because he had to in order to be with her. Threaten her and the Prince of Hell is still right there, only kept in check by his love for her.
If you read all that, cudos. Just realize this was the quick and dirty version of the thesis. It’ll be easy to spot holes that if asked to elaborate likely won’t remain.
