Interesting as the Bf 109 is the most produced fighter aircraft in history, with a total of 34,248 airframes produced from 1936 to April 1945 in various variants starting with the engine provided by the new Jumo 210 with about 700 hp until the final surrender using the DB 605 D-2 engine of the 109K with over 2000 hp making it the fastest variant reaching over 710 km/h! A remarkable airplane indeed. Good job 👍 👏
Yes i would have liked to be one of the early Luftwaffe fly boys, the early 109' s were sweet flyers, like the early Spitfire etc etc, tgen tbe adding on begins, bigger more powerfull engines, more guns etc etc!
I reviewed the video. I give you the point after watching it three times in slow motion. It looks like the SB2Cs had oversized spinners and that threw me off. 10:07 and 10:08 look very close to P-40s but 10:075 - 10:08 does not have the rear retracting landing gear. You had a good eye to catch my mistake.
Calling the NSDAP "nutsies" is a slur invented by Ashkenazi Jews who owned and published newspapers in Britain. My guess is that it's a childish retort: "No, I'm not the nutsy, YOU'RE the nutsy!" It never fails to amuse me how the anti-whites endlessly call anything Germany did "Nazi," while the actions of the Democratic Party dominant rule of the US weren't called "Democrat," or the actions of the Conservative Party dominant rule of Britain called "Tory."
The first flight with the 109, was with a Rolls-Royse Kestrel engine, because no suitable german engine was ready yet. Same with the JU 87 Stuka.
Isnt it strange, how even in the midst of a war that killed 60 million people, that everyone was worried about copying without a license? 🤔
@@HarborLockRoad Or how a Rothschild was held hostage so that their clan would agree to legally sell a factory to Germany.

Even more interesting is the DB 605 had a much greater displacement than the RR Merlin.
Great video. Thanks.
One of the most famous fighter planes of all time

The Curtiss SB2C Helldivers’ mid air collision and the V1s detonating in mid air at around 10 mins did not add anything!

@@Easy-Eight I’d thought they were P-40s but was corrected in a different video!
That video of two P-40s colliding at 10:06 is worth the price of admission.
Curtiss SB2C Helldivers. Very similar profile from above especially the tail. It was a shame to use the footage as irrelevant filler material though.

First and hi everyone
It’s surprising that this video has only 86 views when it deserves so much more.
