  • Once upon a time, in Palestine which was being hit by famine, there lived the Prophet Sulaiman Alaihiwasalam. He was a prophet who was blessed with wisdom and the ability to speak with other creatures, including ants. Previously like and subscribe please...
One day, Prophet Solomon and his followers walked into the open desert to pray for rain and an end to the drought. On the way, a small ant came. This ant approached Prophet Solomon with great humility, raised his hands up, and prayed:
"O Allah, we are only Your very small creatures among all. We cannot live without Your grace. Please give us Your sustenance and do not punish us for human sins. Send down rain so that trees can grow, agriculture became green, and grain was available. And we had food to eat."
Prophet Solomon, who understood the language of animals, told the people around him about this prayer of ants. He asked everyone to go home because he thought the ants' prayers were enough. Not long after, heavy rain fell and the whole land turned green!
Ants are intelligent creatures. Every day, they collect and store food in holes. Ants know that during the wet and cold months, they cannot go out to find food. The underground holes they created were very carefully protected to prevent rainwater from entering.
Apart from that, ants like to help each other. They work together on anything. One day, when Prophet Solomon was traveling with humans, jinn and birds, they reached the valley of ants. The ant heads and warns all the ants to get into their holes to avoid being trampled and crushed by the approaching humans and jinn.
Prophet Sulaiman smiled at the warning from the ant chief. He asked his friends to wait until the ants entered their hole. “None of us harm the ants when we pass through their soil,” he said.
From this story, we learn about humility, wisdom, and the importance of protecting the environment and helping others, even creatures as small as ants. The ant praying to Allah shows that every creature has rights and needs that need to be respected.
