Funny, and very true to life. So many parents believe they can avoid all the pitfalls of parenthood, and then the first sleepless night hits and it all goes to hell in a flaming wicker hand basket! Much more fun, though, with a soundtrack!

So funny! At least I haven't burned down the house yet... but with three teenagers in the house who are going to start cooking that may totally still pan out. Lol.
People need to go into parenting knowing they are definitely gonna mess up and just hope it isn't so bad that that they don't do permanent damage. Also, your kids will seem to overlook all the sacrifices that are made and all the good that you do.....they will fixate on all the little things you did wrong. My son is 30.yrs. old and still brings up something I did when he was 8. They. Will. Never. Forget. Your. Mistakes.

God decided that he didn’t want me and my husband to be parents, perfect or otherwise, but I got my childcare fix as I am a qualified British Nursery Nurse (letters after my name and everything!) but we are doggy parents- our dog of 15 years had to be sent over the rainbow bridge in April 2022 but we have found our perfect new doggy family member tonight. We are going to be perfect parents once again!!!
Chris that is 100A plus. What beautiful voices and lovely vocal harmonies you create together. Wait a few years and you can have singing kiddies and possibly grandparents, would be a hoot. Ha I had a drug free labor and she wasn't that difficult with the pushing.. Then I left the hospital and we went on a hike.. THEN she slept through the night from day one... funny enough I wanted that experience and was used to it since I spent my life raising kiddos before having my own lol
