This little ditty by Belle is one of my favourite Disney songs, and I was wary before opening this because I have seen so many people not do it justice. But... If anyone can pull off a Disney parody without butchering it, it's Chris. The extra effort in this one is crazy, and crazy impressive.

Ah, you're a gem! As a fellow May 5th 1980something baby (I'm '87, but hey, May 5th babies are dope. Not that I'm biased), I grew up on the Disney classics, have been in musical theatre most of my life, and playing half an orchestra of instruments (I wish I was joking. Music over-achiever here), when a cover or parody of something iconic is done well, I speak up.
Your covid parodies have been brilliant, and obviously relatable as heck.
I'm in Australia, so I didn't know of you before *'My Corona'*, and after a few of the parodies I went through the rest of your catalogue because I wanted to see more - and was obviously left mighty impressed.
Moving to Chicago in a few months (whoever said international moves were a great idea obviously didn't deal with the logistics. Aaagghhhhh), so being on the same continent, if you escape the tiny humans for a bit to do some shows/theatre I'll be there. Always support artists I enjoy.

I went mask free for the first time yesterday and I felt exposed all day. I'll just keep masking. It's been great to not get sick and barely deal with allergies anyway!
Honestly, as an asthmatic who's drastically allergic to fragrances & chemical triggers, I've been desperately grateful for the way the pandemic finally normalized wearing masks in public spaces! I'm still using one on buses etc even now and it makes such a huge difference in terms of not getting constantly ambushed by people's toxically-over-applied perfume choices etc... 😭

Masks are not optional where I live and I am still in lockdown it sucks
I’m in Phoenix, Arizona in the US and if you’re vaccinated most businesses no longer require masks, although they are still very much recommended. Also people like me who rely on public transportation still have to wear them due to a federal mandate still in place. I work in a hospital and I believe all hospitals and doctors offices throughout the country (at least I haven’t heard of any dropping the requirement) still require them for employees, visitors and patients.

Remember you’re in lockdown because of the Australian government, not the virus 😉. Not a single person has died from COVID in 2021 in Australia and the government still wants your movement monitored, your livelihood squashed, your vacations cancelled, while suicides and depression cases soar. It’s not about a pandemic but it is about control.
MY G'BABY TOLD ME OF A DISCUSSION THE 2ND GRADERS HAD ABOUT HOW AFRAID THEY ARE OF BEING SENT HOME AGAIN to isolation this year, of becoming sick, of being too young to get the vax, of how some kids saying they won't get the vax, of her fear of being unable to see me for another 7 months due to my strict medically orchestrated solitary quarantine. My heart broke. So little. So much worry I can't ease. Every human alive has been irrevocably impacted by this~ sending blessings of health, safety, courage, laughter, comfort to you, dear one.

That's what I'm saying lol. It's like... my state is open now, but it's still up to businesses. Except... even with signs on the door to say wear masks (or wear if not vaccinated), no one is wearing one, and I'm pretty sure not 100% of those people are vaccinated. And no one is actually enforcing. I still wear one (though I am also highly at risk) but I feel like an idiot because I'm literally the only person wearing one.
I personally don't mind wearing one because I'm self-conscious and don't like to be seen, and I think about the people who have been walking around for years before this who wear one (usually traveling from foreign countries, but still lol) and if they don't mind, why should I I guess lol.
And agreed, another great video. I'm glad he's not done with the parodies. If he makes one 15 years from now looking back at it, I'd still love it haha

I had my second dose on June 29th, so I'm wearing mine at least until my two weeks are up, but more likely until my husband's and my brother's two weeks are up. After that, I'd really like to have a mask-burning party, tbh. But I keep hearing about the Delta variant and I don't know! Ack! lol

I am one of the villagers warning about the variants. I encourage my family to continue wearing their masks because of Delta and Delta Plus. Also, never pull down your mask because it just becomes a chin diaper.
