During the 70s and 80s I grew up in Logan Square. Went to Schurz. My mom and dad owned the house across from the entrance to the Kennedy on California and Diversey. It’s definitely a different neighborhood now. We used to walk all over, up and down the blvd. The brownstone buildings are still gorgeous.
These neighborhood videos are great, especially when you combine apartment tours. Super helpful for those looking to move to Chicago from out of town/state/country. It helps with narrowing down where to settle. Please consider including a map so we can situate where places are located within the neighborhood, where the neighborhood is located within the city, and accessible transport. Thanks again!
I grew up in logan square and it has changed so much. One place that hasn't is one of my favorite taco spots Taqueria Moran. You had featured it in your shots a few times. I recommend anyone to try it for authentic Mexican food.
The last couple years I’ve become resentful and jaded towards Chicago and the people in it. I’m working on me and want to learn to love this city again as I did when I moved here 8 years ago. Dunno why I keep watching your vids but I am hooked. They help me love this city just a bit more. Ty ❤
I was born in Blue Island and lived in the Southern suburbs. I left in 79 and have been living in San Diego which I love but I still miss Chicago and think of it as home.😃❤
How you don't have your own reality show with that gorgeous husband, adorable dog and that smile I will never understand. Thanks for the post. This is exactly what I was looking for. I Zillow Logan Square a lot and really wanted a more in-depth look. Loved the restaurant and local biz review as well as the real estate. I have had empanadas in Spain, the ones you had look even better. Guava and goat cheese? Can't imagine.
My bf lives in Logan/Bucktown and we've definitely somewhat exhausted the places in Logan, I'm a huge foodie and don't like going to places more than once if possible and Lonesome Rose has been frequented 3 times and I just can't anymore (I veto it every time now lol) but it is a great spot. He moved a little more south and closer to Wicker so I'm excited to try more of those places instead. I'm in Gold Coast so we get a mix of downtown and the more neighborhoody neighborhoods

Gotta say, the sounds is on point! Smooth in each transition and not too high 👌🏻 I listen while I get ready for the day so I can tell the difference 💜
Loved those postcard cards in City Lit Books. I love these neighborhood tours you’re doing Caira. Great video! 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I agree! She's an absolute natural on camera!
My son lives in Logan. You're so right, so much to do.
Such a great, neighborhood-y feel to that area.
