She was so wonderful. I used to deliver her prescriptions to her and also I clearly remember the night she came into the Rio Bamba restaurant where I worked. I can still see her slowly sliding into the booth. She was very intimidating! And so highly intelligent.
@@franklinave2062 hey thanks yes it was a privilege which I maybe didn't fully appreciate at the time because I was just too young, though I did know she had been a movie star, which I found very mysterious and intriguing. I haven't lived in my hometown of Rochester for almost 35 years, but I did visit her final resting place when I was last there about 8 years ago.

I remember when I was little, listening to an old 78 rpm called "Don't Bring Lulu", I have an idea now that it was probably inspired by Louise Brooks.
