If opponents often defend against overbets incorrectly, what forms of exploit should we use? Since they're more likely to call complete hands and fold draws, should I add more top pairs to the flop overbet and bet a second barrel more often when the straight draw hit?
Depends on how they are achieving MDF. Do they raise top of their range still? if yes - barrel/blast off more. Do they defend middling part of range with low equity realization on later streets such as 7788 etc? Blast more. Generally the more counter intuitive a counter strategy is and the more difficult the defending response is the more aggressive you can play.
Awesome video man. This is Jeremy from Dallas. Have you thought about making any 300-500bb deep sim videos? The ranges seem so different. Would be fun to see
I just can't see the average player continuing with AJo or KJo vs the overbet on T62 (which I assume they're supposed to continue due to having overcards and backdoor straight potential?) either way excellent video
@@AlvinTeachesPoker By the way forgot to mention, you did a great job with the thumbnail and title. It's super hooky and intriguing. I hope it's paying off.
I think if you polarize enough and think about which hands you're trying to make indifferent in the solve, you can generally come to a ballpark frequency. Going back in my db it looks like on these boards I'm not overbetting enough though so maybe I need to watch my own material. 😅
I'm probably nitpicking here, but you mention your opponent can't have T9 on a T92/T94 board, showing that T9s is a 3bet in theory. What about T9o though, which are 12 combos villain should be calling almost pure preflop?
yeah both players have an equal amount of T9o. but the PFR still has range adv on T94r with 100% of overpairs sets and strong Tx (all suited broadways) while the BB’s strongest hands are just bottom set and top two, as they can’t have hands like T4 & 94.
but vs stupid fishes who never fold any sutied cards and not 3bets TT 99, nut advantage is not great on T92. vs sinsible reggy players, this kind of contents is a good thing though I already knew this, but vs fishes this aint really gain EV
Hey y'all I'm under the weather from getting my vaccines, will check and reply to everything this week!

Yeah they need that board coverage but in reality they don't have it and die horribly on many overcards and undercards.

you are best gto teacher ever
Haha nah just a nerd
Fucking amazing! Thank you. Are you worried about replicating frequencies with betting and checking?

No you're right and I should have mentioned that, but indeed it's because we can have both face all offsuit variants!

gto will not make you money vs fish
if you run 4 tables hot like me against AA 4 times in under 10min and loose 4 stacks thats real GTO if something :) new record. Unibet is rigged :)
