Quibi comes to mind.
Great video.
WeWork
Fyre Festival / Fyre Media
Quibi, Fyre
Yo I don't watch all of your videos, but every once in a while I do and they're always great. You have great quality and determination, wishing you the best!
Thanks for coming back on this how. Glad we got you to click :)

Love ❤ your videos and share them Caya. I wish I could contribute more to your channel. Thank you. and to your team, for your work here on UA-cam. ❤
@@slidebean any chance of socom?
Seems like the new way to get rich is by losing other people’s money. Start inc, get investors, pay yourself and friends hefty salaries, drive company into the ground… guess these people never dealt with someone that will delete you over their money
That's because the people funding them (VCs) do not have any skin in the game. In fact, they are doing the very same thing. Zero accountability and scrutiny. The biggest losers are the LPs (those whom the VCs raised the money). It's not too farfetched to suggest it's borderline ponzi-ish
Called the Donald Trump model
😅
Don’t forget the “screw over the employees who’ve built your company” step
I came across your channel scrolling through UA-cam, have binge watched almost everything, really good work!!!
OMG! Welcome aboard!
*Appreciate your videos! I’m 54 and younger generations should know there’s no shortcut to acquiring wealth, but there are ways to go about it. Fellow millionaires don’t tell the poor/middle class they need the knowledge of finance coaches to help build their wealth. If anyone here needs a good coach, here’s it..*
Elizabeth Greenhunts
get to her with the name
Many needs this lnfo. Good stuff
If Holmes 'took the blame' she would have pled guilty. You don't get to 'take the blame' from a prison cell. Too late. You have had the blame imposed on you.
I don't understand the HDR hate?😭It looks good on my phone atleast.
Anyway I was expecting wework on the top but was pleasantly surprised with Theranos. Almost forgot about them
I really wanted Fisker to be cool lol
I live in the Bay Area and would see them driving around sometimes and they’re super cool looking and the solar panel is sick
My wife and I are saving up for a new car and that one was on our list until all the bad news started coming out about it. And that review was super informative though he’s right that it’s products that ruin companies not reviews
So everyone just forgot Sam Bankman-Fried and FTX? Lost $1.8B of their investor's and $8B of their customer's money
We need a series about this
they have it, is called company forensics
That streaming service(i forget its name) that came out back in 2019 that spend 1B on marketing and was supposed to replace Netflix....
Its (ultimate) feature was "you can watch series horizontally "
This is really good. I'm new to this UA-cam channel but love the videos so far.
WeWork is definitely going to be in the company of these startups within the next couple of years.
Excited to catch a video this early!
You were first if we exclude the bots :)
@@slidebean 😻
Been a longtime fan
Hopefully, my raise at the end of the year will be successful and you guys will do a video on my startup eventually...
But like "top (funded) startups that deserved to win" instead of being inducted into this cohort of failed startups... Haha 😅
Haha sounds like a plan! Keep us posted :)

@@bkhleungwhat’s your startup I’d love to get onboard
Love your videos as always; crips, clear and easy to absorb the information. Around the 12:16 mark, Caya said 2023 instead of 2003?
Elio Motors seems like a fascinating case study for a startup that was either comically mismanaged, or a scam that was successful because the very convincingly acted incompetent.
Fun fact, Regal Cinema's Unlimited pass ($19/month), is truley unlimited. 0 limitation, even on upgraded seats like Warren Theaters (owned by Regal) Screening Rooms, and 21+ Director's Suites and balcony seats. Some seats of which go for nearly $25.... I've seen over 10 movies in a month, no limitations. Even seen 3 movies in the same day before
I wore movie pass out when I had it. Was going to the movies almost every day
On my phone the HDR looks as if the video has a Gray/beige filter on.
It looks awful honestly.
If it was optional that would be great (but it isn't).
I don’t like blue cheese… oh I thought we were just sharing things we don’t like. HDR looks great.
Great video.. love the content and format!
Am using an android and the video's brightness hurts my eyes. The color also changed to orange like.
tbf with some of them: Doing hardware is really hard.
Also, there is not a lot of support in the area.
People want the good story. They buy the good story. The real story is usually uninspiring.
I will never bet on a designer at the helm for the same reason why you wouldn't want an artist running Google or GE. Designers have the ability to skyrocket good ideas to the moon; literally: Apple. But they live in emotion-land, which you don't want on your 10ks and annual reports.
love this video keep it up!
Lol 😂 I see what people are saying with the HDR. Yes, I agree, you should stop using HDR.
I will only watch HDR videos from now on. It looks great.
Caya, i dont see the issues behind any of the h8. Love slidebean videos and been a fan for years. And i will continue to be a fan for years 🙃 Keep'em coming.
Slidebean thinks 99% of his viewers are bots, like he's some unbox therapy
Why do you think that?
Juicero is the most expensive pair of scissors ever invented.
It's a grip strength workout machine with the reward of a nice, fresh drink after!
I had never heard of Quirky until now. It's kind of like startups squared, with all the attendant risks multiplied as well .
Good luck making that work!😄😄😄😄
your videos are so bright i get eye problems, probably a video setting configuration problem i use a mac book pro 2022 m1
Rabbit, Humane and almost everything with AI
I didn't understand the fake and real voice comparison, they didn't sound different in the example.
the fake voice was not added to the video. likely an editing mistake. you can find vids showing her real voice and the fake voice. its been so heavily reported its baffling that you haven't heard it
I really don't understand why everyone is worried about HDR.
It's actually very very good. It helps to make the visuals more realistic and vibrant.
Please don't listen to guys who say HDR sucks, Maybe in some devices idk, but in general it's very nice.
Great video. Looks amazing on my device too, btw. Keep up the great work.
The fisker Karma was electric
Fisker was Branded as a more premium tesla alternative
fisker was always trash, a narcissistic designer thought the looks of a car could compete with the performance that comes from good engineering.
12:16 ah, understood! She dropped out in 2023 and spent 10 years on the tech, so it was ready in 2033, but an expose in 2015, 8 years before she dropped out, destroyed the company.
A little wonky on the space-time, but I am sure some time-travel must be involved.
Please i appreciate your try, back to HD .thanks
12:16 what year Holmes dropped out & started Theranos ?
Yeah, I also went back to listen to that. Pretty sure he meant 2003!
More of this content please. Super informative
The video looks whitish. Pls fix it. It started recently
Bodega is great. It was tone deaf and pointless, perfect Silicon Valley company
I wonder how much QUE. got paid to mention Fisker in the “uno, dos, tres” song. 1st time and last hearing about them
Please don't call juicero juicer :D It's literally just juice dispenser. Pretty bad one at that, even if you ignore the cost.
Wasn't the first Fisker also an electric car company, or am I missing something?
10 seconds in...JUICERO needs to be there...not a startup but the Keurig cold...I helped in the early development of that and Keurig COMPLETELY ignored my feedback that who pays $400 for a machine to have to buy cartridges at over $1 each when you can buy a 12oz can for the same.
good video.
Very interesting watch - laughed out loud at the juicer. Wild concept from start to finish.
there is a breakdown video showing how overdesigned it is for squeezing a juice bag that you could do by your hands. basically it could have been made and sold for a 100 bucks instead it was sold for 700 bucks due to the insane over engineering.
Sam Bankman
You missed Beeble - like yelp, but for people. LOL
And I can barely find a dime to further develop my free delivery app that lowers costs for business and customers while creating better paying opportunities to drivers.....
Moviepass business model isn't way too different from Spotify.
I like your conclusion at the end.
Didn’t some UA-camr just release a video saying he bought fisker? Think it was Alejandro Salomon/Salomondrin
Make this a Series!
Great video, those new AI products could also make this list.
The best startup employees know when they join a startup that they could be out of the job - they believe their work will keep the company from going out of business. And that's what they optimize for. There's no need to not talk about it
we work should be there definitely!
Nice, 💪🏽💯
why tf this video so mfin bright
include the app "IRL" next
So
Much research and work into this great video and all y’all are commenting about is HDR? What if it were in 320p or worse. Give the gentleman some credit Please. Truely people only lookout for the worse in everything 😢.
Why are you uploading in HDR?????
I will only watch HDR videos from now on.
What about Wework?
The background music will give me a stroke. >> SKIP >>
When you got to Theranos you the first sentence is wrong. I have rewatched it with and without caption several times , and you said that in 2023 Elizabeth Holmes left school. That is not correct.
If Quirky didn't deserve to burn, in your opinion, why include them in this video with such a title? 😅
Otherwise, excellent video 😊
What if we make a "gofundme" to bride you to not use HDR anymore - How much you demand to make your videos watchable again?
Forgot Quibi and FTX
i mean these were startup design for investor rather than end customer. If anything how the investors got fooled in the first place manage to stay in business is a bigger mystery. If anything the investor fund that continue to fund these stupid startup should be one that get named and shamed.
a perfect example of how exploitable is Human ingenuity....
Moviepass failed because the ownera were booted out
Ha Elizabeth should have started a car company
Easier to make money critising the people who actually do things.. dont you think?
$700 juice squeezer?? wt..??? 😂😂🤣🤣
The cojones on some of these folks to spend other peoples' literal millions on stuff that blatantly doesn't work.
ugh, move fast and break things is a disgusting mentality
Do add FTX
I avoid subscription based product
Quibi
Yeah. Quibi would be perfect to be featured in the next video.
@@geraldopereirajunior funny, did they raise more than $1 billion I figured they would’ve been a part of this conversation right from the beginning. Looking forward to your take on them later.
@@caljglenn For sure. The valuation, money raised and team behind Quibi makes me wonder why they weren't in this first video right from the beginning, as you said.
Umm, I’m sorry but the title is so confusing? So companies deserved it but then you say that quirky didn’t deserve that?!?
Where is We Wokr?.
Start ups by the sheltered Silicon Valley goons. 😂👎🏾
Who is this guy AI ?
The weekday ( I’m sure this joke has already been made )
I founded this youtube channel and I have just 8 subscribers 😂😂
I swear I’m never watching another video of yours if it’s uploaded in HDR again
Why
Why
HDR hate is so unusual I'm starting to believe its bots.
- Caya
HDR increases dynamic range. How is that bad?
I thought I'm the only one watching the video in grey haha
Great video quality HDR
Stop with HDR
What's wrong with it Idk why you'd say that
I love the HDR!
@@mohamedaityoussef9965 Its not properly implemented. When viewing on Android phones (Pixel 8, OnePlus7 Pro tested) the normal live in-camera content is super dim and hard to see, but the computer generated content (e.g slides, transitions) are fully blown out and way to bright.
Increase HDR. More.
No. I love it.
2023?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 love it!
this video is way to terrible to watch
I beg you to cut your hair!
the hair is cool tho.
Thanks going to be a no for now. Sorry.
