@@PepiiChu XD Honestly yes I hope so too. Maybe we'll get some background in Alhaithams character stories or whenever Kaveh comes out. Maybe they'll finally do hangouts again and Kaveh will be a 4* and we could learn more?
They both are unbearable in two ways. Likable but unbearable. Kaveh lacking rationality and Alhaitham lacking compassion. They are like siblings TBH. But it's hard to say which one is the younger one. Edit: I didn't expect to get this many likes. TYSM!!! It's the most I have gotten in my life LOL.
Kaveh said "Can't you show a little respect for your senior and explain what's going on!?" in their second hidden interaction in the main story quest so Kaveh's likely older, but I think there's only a small difference in age
Yeahh I think depending on the person, one will be more unbearable than the other lol. Personally, I like Alhaitham more with his clear stance on things and boundaries. There is no confusion since he won't lie to you. I'm a bit bad with subtleties so he's so nice for me.
@@nikosaronim Saaame! I liked Haitham more for his rationality. Idk why people think he's being rude, but he's not intent of being insulting. He's just as honest as he could be.
Idk why people are so gungho about Alhaitham telling Kaveh that he doesn't make money from his artwork cuz like, that's basically the entire problem with Kaveh's character. He's too much of a people pleaser that he ended up getting scammed by the person that commissioned him to do architectural work (aka Dori) and the fact that he continues to be so gullible means he doesn't seem like he's going in a more favorable direction. Alhaitham respects Nilou's work since she at least has a good head on her shoulders. He doesn't respect Kaveh's work because Kaveh is too emotional and as a result is a lot less rational. He's not dissing the field of arts, he is dissing Kaveh's lifestyle specifically.
If Alhaitham really wants Kaveh to change, he should be more sensitive to how he raises his concern. All that technical explanation wouldn't be enough if he didn't choose his words carefully to tell Kaveh what to do.
@@alunsinus_prime i mean Kaveh should be self aware too. The fact that he got scammed by Dori to the point of went bankrupt and even losing place to stay should be a slap in his face. But it seems that to this day, he's still way too gullible and still sticking with his old work ethic. If im in Alhaitham position, i would speak way more harshly than that because why can't you be more aware of your client?? why you keep giving someone's else your job when yourself need that job badly too? really he brought this upon himself 🤷♀️
@@alunsinus_prime its not like they're in a good relationship based on Alhaitham character story. So really, i say Alhaitham is still pretty nice to Kaveh for someone that they no longer close with (they had a pretty bad fallout and never keep talking ever since. both seems to stubborn to ever talk things out too.)
@@alunsinus_prime It's barely tough love when all he's saying are facts. Alhaitham, like in the archon quest, just doesn't think it's worth having to sugarcoat his words. He doesn't hold back on Kaveh because he thinks that the guy needs to get some common sense and start to apply himself more. On the other hand, look at how highly and understanding he speaks of Dehya, who is someone thriving in such a cutthroat industry without losing sense of her own principle. He respects her for her capabilities and how she conducts herself. It just proves that it's not case of Alhaitham being unable to be nice, it just showcases how matter-of-fact the guy is. Literally a Diluc with less PR training.
You should feel bad for Kaveh. The only reason he is in debt is because Dori scammed him. That beautiful palace she lives in, was built by him...and she never paid him the millions of mora it was worth. So since Kaveh funded the project and was never paid...he is broke. Not like he doesn't have a job, just takes forever to get enough money to be able to live on his own again. Al is WAY to harsh on him.
Honestly, these two are amazing characters looking out for each other, and i can relate to both of them. Alhaitham is a very intelligent and straightforward person who gives his honest opinion, and in an educated way. His perspectives and advice to Kaveh honestly to me does not come out rude, if not as how an adult should speak with honesty to anyone, for the best of them. Kaveh too is intelligent and a very kind person who is hardworking and never gives up with his bright smile. I know many people find him probably immature for not wanting to accept Alhaithams point of views, which im sure Alhaitham does seem to agree with his, but also sees Kaveh's perspective with our paths(as in pros and cons, also Kaveh's expectations and reality). Maybe people will disagree with me, but this is the way I see it. Kaveh not only has a different, more emotional personality than Alhaitham, but for the same reason he's different and he technically had to become independent on his own without either of his parents, Kaveh processes his emotions differently and his mindset and maturity is processed differently from Alhaithams. Im sure as humans, we can understand we process life experiences differently, and Kaveh copes with the hardship of being an architect by drinking alcohol a lot. I can relate to Kaveh, because I haven't met the world yet and have made mistakes, because I lack maturity for not really socializing, hearing truths that may hurt, but I expect learned to accept the truth or sometimes see how I can fix my mistakes. I have a great friend that is like Alhaitham, and sometimes he* would give me perspectives I wouldn't agree to, and later on I realized I was being immature, he only wanted what was best for me, so I understand where Alhaitham comes from. That is true love, in the aspect of telling truths to help one grow from one's immature mistakes. These two characters are indeed REAL, as in relatable to us. We shall love them very much and thank Hoyo for giving us a good feel here. I personally love these two, I just wanted to give my perspective, if for any case some people may have a disagreement with one or both of them for there opinions and acts.
Bruh, does this mean that Kaveh, out of two of them, is the caretaker? That's...quite unexpected. So, he's the one cleaning the house and probably working his brain to relocate all of Alhaitham's eccentric furnitures while Alhaitham's the one who makes messes lmao.
I'm surprised how many people point at Alhaitham completely ignoring the absolutely uncalled for insults Kaveh keeps throwing at him first. So if Kaveh would stop starting fights at every opportunity their relationship would probably instantly improve.
Kaveh: *the Akademiya can't be left to you* 😤 Alhaitham: *i know right but who will?* 😒 Kaveh: *Im much more suited to be a sage than u* 😌 Alhaitham: *your leadership would result in sumeru somehow be drowning in debt* 😐 Kaveh: *YOU!!!!* 🤬
Is 1:07 the line that makes so many people go "Alhaitham is toxic towards Kaveh & tries to put him down"? I'm a passionate artist myself and here's my POV: Alhaitham doesn't degrade artists, he's merely pointing out that Kaveh keeps putting others' feelings over his own (he even explicitly mentioned this in Kaveh's hangout) to the point where he overworks himself for basically nothing. Alhaitham knows how talented Kaveh is and thinks it's a waste for him to use it on stuff like this. As an artist myself, I know the feeling all too well, having drawn popular stuff I didn't even care about only so it would blow up on social media (and it never did). I grew sick of it and swore myself to only draw what I was passionate about, and this scene hit home. I relate to both of these characters a lot and I just can't see how anything about this is toxic when Alhaitham just wants Kaveh to not waste his talent. (For reference, he's explained this to the Traveler during Kaveh's hangout in the House of Daena.)
Al is that type of person who is just brutally honest no matter what subject he talks about. And after reading some comments, I understand where Al comes from, he wants Kaveh to learn from his mistakes and become better, but some of his wording could be better though.
Everyone's talking about Alhaitham because he gave one insult (which is actually a truth I agree as an artist myself) and ignoring that Kaveh was full on insulting him 💀
"At least I don't have to be an architectural designer who works himself to death just to get a smile from his client" literally anyone in the design field is like this I believe lol
Can't believe Al-Hatiham and Kaveh are still roommates in this scene and still fight like this. I'm impressed. If I was one of them, I would've given up and move out. But all in all, I'm impressed 👀
Honestly I think they just like getting eachother riled up. Alhaitham smiles a lot more when talking to Kaveh and sometimes Kaveh even teases back (re: in the scene before Alhaitham joked that Kaveh would devole into a fungus and Kaveh retorted "at least I'd be an affectionate and loyal fungus" in an obviously jokey way). But it's just that Alhaitham doesn't really seem to know when to stop joking or that Kaveh is just too emotional so he gets angry pretty easily
This made me lose my mind cause i kept thinking i was suppoused to do something else in that room and everytime i tried to enter the cutscene started again
as an architecture graduate, my friends are shocked i work longer hours and more days yet get paid way less than them lmao so yes im pulling for kaveh as a kaveh kinnie
I kept accidentally walking in it bcs it keeps making me appear right infront of that door and after I would be looking the opposite way of the door so HYV ISTG
Apparently a lot of butthurt artists in the chat....As an artist myself, I cannot understand why? Not to mention that these two definitely have a whole history, considering that Kaveh says they *used* to be friends. Listening to their conversations always sounds like we are only getting half the story
Exactly for one thing was alhaitham insensitive for saying that? Absolutely, but like this is alhaitham we're talking about he only likes talking in facts and wether those can be offensive or not he will say them regardless because it's fact. And can we all keep in mind that alhaitham literally owns the house so it's literally his own business what to do with his house so kaveh just trying to dictate and telling him what he should and shouldn't buy is completely not his right to do that since he is just living there to rent.
And also another thing we freaking talking about alhaitham "offending" kaveh because of one comment yet we dont talk about all of the multiple insults that kaveh has given to alhaitham like quite literally, 1. Questioning his ability over all, 2. Actually insulting his position as a scribe and also calling it rock bottom, 3. Profusely tells him that hes not capable of being a sage/leader yet we all know the players that, that is not true at all, like we literally could have not done everything without his help. And cyno may hate his guts but he himself questions why would alhaitham not take the role as the grand sage knowing perfectly well that he could be perfect as one.
Alhaitham’s bio explains it all. Both of them seem like they’re still hurt over what happened to them a few years ago, but Alhaitham seems better at hiding it. Kaveh’s more emotional.
@@everettjoseph6189 Thank you. Everyone is so quick to jump at Alhaitham and I'm just like??? Kaveh is literally the guy whose very first action is always to insult Alhaitham completely unprompted. He literally even interrupted the conversation only to get another insult in. Like??? I'm sorry but if you keep starting fights you can't be surprised if you keep getting hurt.
I just tried to find a way outside his house and I didn't figure out entering that room triggered the cutscenes so I kept entering and I heard it like 15 fucking times before figuring out I am supposed to turn around and go different way😭

Honestly I really enjoy their bickering. I think it's funny that Kaveh is so damn worried about people knowing that he rooms with Alhaitham and Alhaithams just like, of you're so worried you could, yk, move out of my house.
Honestly Diluc and Kaeya rly dont fight like that, especially in recent events. idk why people are still stuck on that lol
@@fluffy_magnus They don't really fight but they still taunt each other like siblings here and there. Idk Kaveh and Alhaitham remind me of that ," I do care about your well being but to hell if I'll ever admit that to your face" vibe that Kaeya and Diluc give me.
@@lyarogers6101 I am really hoping for a story-quest one day where we learn their past, Kaveh said they used to be friends and you also would not let a random dude who you don't even like be your roommate. I might be reading too much into this, but either something happened in the past, hence the constat arguing, or they just realised they despise eachother as roommates xD
@@PepiiChu XD Honestly yes I hope so too. Maybe we'll get some background in Alhaithams character stories or whenever Kaveh comes out. Maybe they'll finally do hangouts again and Kaveh will be a 4* and we could learn more?
@@lyarogers6101 I really hope so as well. I want more of this chaotic duo 😭
ONG. EXACTLY LIKE I AND MY SIBLINGS AT TIMES😭
EXACTLY LMAOOOOOOO😂😂😂😂😂
If you have Nahida in this part, you can use her skill to read both of their minds for hidden dialogue, no dots

I want Kaveh so bad... He's hilarious and sounds like an angry cat to me 😂😂😂
Idk why people are so gungho about Alhaitham telling Kaveh that he doesn't make money from his artwork cuz like, that's basically the entire problem with Kaveh's character.
@@sisi2352 tough love doesn't always work
@@alunsinus_prime its not like they're in a good relationship based on Alhaitham character story.
Literally a Diluc with less PR training.
good lord man, I forgot how ruthless al can be.. even if he IS telling the truth. I feel bad for Kaveh tbh ;-;
@@riatanina Alhaitham reminds me of my elder sister because of his insensitivity, and this dialogue hurts more than it is supposed to be amusing.
btw idk if u new this but calling alhaitham “al” is the same as calling him “the” because of the translation
@@tomobred It’s still the first part of his name lol
@@KingOfGaymes yes but you dont go out calling people THE do you.
Dang, he hurt some feelings with that architecture comment 😭😭🤣
as someone considering animation its a stab to the gut for sure LMAOO
Also: You can actually use Nahida’s skill on them and head their thoughts! Kaveh actually thinks a lot lol
What did it saaay please tell !!!
Kaveh outside : a sunshine
Kaveh inside : a bundle of overthinking architect
Mom and dad, can you guys stop fighting 😞
Alhaitham sounds like Tony Stark: Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, Philanthropist...
Also insensitive...
The first and only cutscene we can actually replay
KAVEH'S HEAD SHAKING WHEN HE GOT MAD SENT ME 💀💀💀💀😭😭😭
Bruh, does this mean that Kaveh, out of two of them, is the caretaker? That's...quite unexpected. So, he's the one cleaning the house and probably working his brain to relocate all of Alhaitham's eccentric furnitures while Alhaitham's the one who makes messes lmao.
Kaveh is a malewife confirmed
i just noticed that Kaveh has an absolutely lovely eyes, i could burn some primos for them
lmao i would just cry in the corner with a strict roommate like alhaitam T_T or not going back to the room at all
The part Kaveh tells him he should pay him a drink just made me think how hungry he must be. Dori made him dirt, bro can't even buy food...
Man im still sad that we can’t go to alhaitham’s house after we exit the house😭
Omg I saw this in a reel, I thought it was fanmade but you're telling me this is actual dialogue 😭😭
Even though Alhaitham can be harsh and an asshole at times, I still prefer a flawed character like him over perfect one-dimensional characters.
As an architecture student, Alhaitham's comment felt so personal lmao
I'm surprised how many people point at Alhaitham completely ignoring the absolutely uncalled for insults Kaveh keeps throwing at him first.
So if Kaveh would stop starting fights at every opportunity their relationship would probably instantly improve.
2:14 OMG ITS A DATE 🎉
I feel like alhaitham loves seeing kaveh angry so he just keeps teasing him 😭 poor kaveh
he's just so bully - able and cute
Alhaitham: You can blame that to my financial freedom
Damn i'm so hurt 😭
as someone who has a roommate i can relate to some of this full-edged dissing convo LMAO
Kaveh: *the Akademiya can't be left to you* 😤
Alhaitham: *i know right but who will?* 😒
Kaveh: *Im much more suited to be a sage than u* 😌
Alhaitham: *your leadership would result in sumeru somehow be drowning in debt* 😐
Kaveh: *YOU!!!!* 🤬
Is 1:07 the line that makes so many people go "Alhaitham is toxic towards Kaveh & tries to put him down"?
I'm a passionate artist myself and here's my POV:
Alhaitham doesn't degrade artists, he's merely pointing out that Kaveh keeps putting others' feelings over his own (he even explicitly mentioned this in Kaveh's hangout) to the point where he overworks himself for basically nothing.
Why did i think that put down mean euthanize...?
Al is that type of person who is just brutally honest no matter what subject he talks about. And after reading some comments, I understand where Al comes from, he wants Kaveh to learn from his mistakes and become better, but some of his wording could be better though.
Everyone's talking about Alhaitham because he gave one insult (which is actually a truth I agree as an artist myself) and ignoring that Kaveh was full on insulting him 💀
Because Alhaitham insults were more damaging lol
I could watch a sitcom that has 10 seasons with just these two arguing and I wouldn't get bored.
Add the Wanderer as their new roommate, and it would mean pure chaos and the end for Sumeru.
And if you have Nahida you’ll also be able to read their minds. And Kaveh’s mind read goes on for sooo long bro
I accidentally watched this cut scene three times because I wanted to explore their house
I have never in my life felt THIS offended as a artist. He clapped all of us in one breath…
Some props for Kaveh 😭, he doesn't rlly deserve this pls
He deserves the higher pay. He helped save Tayvat and his own archon.
Damn... you'd think Alhaitham had a cryo vision, he ended his man's career in cold blood!
This is literally me and my mom 🎤😭
Kaveh to Alhaitham's taste in decorations is literally me to my mom whenever she buys something 😅
They’re just like brothers lol😂
I love how Kaveh is like "God you're so insufferable I hate you... anyway don't you DARE not bring me on a date"
kaveh got terribly humbled 💀
"At least I don't have to be an architectural designer who works himself to death just to get a smile from his client" literally anyone in the design field is like this I believe lol
Sad reality
Mihoyo must ve employed ex interior designers to create kaveh
I used to like the JP voice, but this Kaveh EN voice is adorable 😄
Alhaitham is giving me signs to drop out of my design course💀💀
As a designer, I'm laughing so much with pain. Alhaitham you've gone too far.
Sounds like when me and my brother are fighting since we're comfortable with each other we don't care about hurting each other's feelings
Omfg i love alhaithams voice
The best roast battle in teyvat
I don’t think Kaveh can afford to move out when he’s so deep into debt… dude probably owes Dori millions in Mora.
maybe they are dating
@@xtusabesx1842 that's what I'm thinking about when I saw this scene
Looks like we have another Moraless character soon
They are so chaotic :,) and sus ngl
those two are very sweet, in a way. Mihoyo does not disappoint when it comes to dialogue scenes!!!!!!!!!!
I hate that I missed this on my run. Now I feel incomplete.
They legit sound like siblings like this is exactly what our arguments sound like-🤣
alhaitham is so mean bro wtff 😭
This made me lose my mind cause i kept thinking i was suppoused to do something else in that room and everytime i tried to enter the cutscene started again
you know what screw khanreiah lore, I need to know how these two ended up being roommates in the first place
as an architecture graduate, my friends are shocked i work longer hours and more days yet get paid way less than them lmao
so yes im pulling for kaveh as a kaveh kinnie
Kaveh is my spirit animal
I just tried to find a way outside his house and I didn't figure out entering that room triggered the cutscenes so I kept entering and I heard it like 15 fucking times before figuring out I am supposed to turn around and go different way😭
For everyone who wants to make a picture with them: a friend has to come in your world while these roommates talking (mid convo)
After that you 2 will stand with these blockheads in one room and u can take selfies
and i stuck in that cutscenes for like 3 times cause i want to enter the room and the cutscene started

"At least I don't have to be an architectural designer who works himself to death just to get a smile from his client."
I don't think I'll ever move on from that, and what's worse is the fact that it came from a fictional character.
this was "emotional damage"
The drinks are payment for his artistic opinion on furniture, Kaveh should have pointed that out.
I accidentally got it twice because, since I was still in the house, I decided to snoop to see what their house was like 😅
Ppl need to understand that Al Haitham is being mean to Kaveh for being a people pleaser and lacking of rationality not for being an arquitect, if you understand the character you will see that he doesn't have bad intentions, he's just a little dry
