My current race shoe, I did a couple of 10k in it. Fast and nimble. Good foam. Good energy return. Fits my faily wide and tall foot, which is surprising. Fairly stable. Downside for me: crap heel lock. I have to do a runner knot and use ktape to avoid rubbing. I paid around 200$/180 eur for it (in local currency 900 RON).
A fantastic shoe, up there with the latest super shoes. Achieved a half marathon and 5k PB this year in them, both that stood for 5 years! Cheers Ed for your elite reviews 👍
Hi, Edd! Did you see the announcement for the adizero EVO SL at $150USD?!? Could adidas be replacing the standard Adios with the Adios Pro and replacing the old school position with the EVO SL? It appears that way for now. I will be moving from the Adios 8 to the EVO SL. ✌🏽💙👟
I have a ton of miles in the Kjerag, including 52.4 mile and 33 mile races. It's insanely light, and a normal runner (pun intended!) can run ultras in that shoe. Kilian can run Hardrock.
@@EDDBUD Yeah, it's a pain to get your foot into but once it's on I love it. After 500ish miles, I'd say that's my only "complaint." I'm not sure it counts as it's not like I'm trying to run a triathlon with transitions or something.
I was searching for this shoe online literally yesterday to see if it had gone on sale anywhere and next day you drop this….get out of my head Edd! You must be nibbling my cookies
Good morning. Thanks for this description. Now, I have the Hoka carbon x3.....Like from 🇪🇸 Spain. Have a great day.
My rocketx2 ~400mile and still good 😊
my current marathon shoe. love it
so after 100 miles it becomes a legal shoe for professional marathon runners😉.
It was legal anyway. The sample size was 40mm

I would try this shoe; but not for £220. Don’t ever see it on discount either so guess I’ll wait.
Keen to see your Kjerag review!
Thoughts and opinions
I always fancied this shoe but the gaudy Hoka colorways put me off
I quite like their odd takes
Hey… Norwich City FC vibes. What’s not to like?
Same with asics metaspeed edge paris
Just missed out on the top spots…
The ballot for The Brass Monkey Half opens today if you fancy a January 13.1 bone chiller 🥶... Just don't forget your electric blanket!
Can’t wait for the cold nights. Can get the sheepskin out!
Well done.
You have to grab this Adidas Adios Pro 4. They look to be a shoe you would love. They will be available tomorrow here in the States.
No sign of it yet
Algorithm buster! Nice work Edd!!
Yes! Thank you!
This is a great shoe, indeed. I only have nearly 20 miles on mine. I have to start using them more.

Biggest question for me is Hoka mach x2 or Hoka cielo x1 for marathon? A bit heavier runner.
Cielo has more resilience for such a run
@@EDDBUD this is my vote but that price it is a bit killer for me 🙈🙉🙊
Thank you, Edd.
Very welcome

Adios 9 is also coming 😅
@@Eirikkinserdal oh, man! These all look so good, and the advancements since 2019/2020 are mostly amazing. They are dialed in again.

It’s the shoe where I feel the person comes through more. The outsole is superb

Do you listen to CeeLo Green in the Cielo X1?
Can’t say I have
