This video is really helpful! Although just want to ask for tips if in case for international nurses who haven’t registered for NMC yet can we still try to apply say as Band 2 HCA thru this site? I’ve passed multiple applications and all have been unsuccessful ☹️ I was just thinking if this is because I choose “"I do not have the relevant UK professional registration"? Or can I also choose “"UK Professional registration required but not yet applied for". As i’m currently reviewing to take OET and CBT to register for NMC hope you can help advise 🙏

Hi I'd suggest using the job description person spec to help you outline your personal statement. So they may ask for things such as qualifications (rmn, masters etc) experience and knowledge ( understanding of different mental health conditions or therapies). You will then structure your personal statement to cover those areas as headline Qualifications-give an example of how you meet this Experience/knowledge-give an example of how you meet this Skills - give an example of how you do this. I'm putting together ebook on how to do this.

If you are applying for a Registered nursing role in the you will need to be a qualified nurse as that's an essential criteria. If you don't meet the essential criteria you will not be shortlisted. However if you are a Registered Nurse with no uk experience that is OK you will need to show in your personal statement how your experience is transferable. Again using the personal spec as a guide

Hi Bank work is a part time work-teams use these to either cover vacancies, short notice sickness or increased work load. Again for bank and band 2/3 roles you need to ensure you make your application and personal specific for that role - using the person specification for that job role is the best way to do this ie make your personal statement specific to the role you are applying for
