Hey Cinematic Composers! We're so excited to present this documentary!
It all goes back to August 2022 when, after several years of teaching online, Cinematic Composing hosted its first live event! Twenty-five MOMENTUM Composers from around the world gathered in Los Angeles to record their music with professional musicians. For many, it marked their first time recording with live musicians-an unforgettable experience. This film shares their journey.

I just started film scoring on Cubase a few months ago at 38 years old, I'm becoming pretty good imho (and thanks to Marc for that), to be a composer has always been a dream and it's never too late so I can relate to some of these guys, I know I won't be the next Hans Zimmer but I hope to become a great composer nonetheless and work on some documentaries or TV shows some day, I just love orchestral music!

" and it's never too late..." You are correct. I 'resumed' composing which began in Nashville in the 1970's, after a long and successful career acting in film and TV. And to my absolute astonishment I won "best score" in the 2023 in a regional film festival in Snohomish WA.. Now I am composing a series of 2 minute film-noirish cues for a major international music source library based in L.A...(I'm 81 years old). Whoever you are...DON"T QUIT! :)
