YES YES! No one EVER knows what I mean when I talk about "old school Disney chorus". The music today is good, but it'll never hold a candle to the old chorus of the classic movies!
oh you are so so right . I just showed this to my grandchildren. But they know all these characters. As my daughter reads to them these stories and they love it and cannot wait to show them this xo
I was looking for the same thing too! The distinctive "ooohs" and "aahs" of the old-school Disney choir music is something that I've always loved and cherished so much.
These songs have an incredible capacity to take me back. I look back at being a kid and watching these movies with my mom when I hear them now, but on top of this, even as a kid, they always gave me a weird sense of longing for the simpler time in which my parents grew up.
That’s exactly what I’ve always wondered, the stories had such good plots, a stunning artstyle, and lovely songs. But I also think it’s because of the racist things in their movies or whatever people consider racist, so they’re being careful and keeping up with “Trendy” things because if you don’t, like their recent movies, will flop and everyone will say they’re horrible and junky. 🤷♀️
As we all know, The Little Mermaid launched the Disney Renaissance and one of the things that movie did to recapture that classic feel was to bring back the Disney chorus for its finale!
I’ve always wanted to make my own animated films, and when I do I’m bringing this style of music back! (At least for the more whimsical/fantasy-inspired movies that I plan to make)
I’d be down to see some of those, those old orchestral productions with the old choir is something that is missing from todays media, there very difficult to make tho music wise I’ve tired a few times, you gotta really know your theory for all the instruments parts
@@bigchungas4728 I wouldn’t be making the songs myself, I’d hire professionals to do that. I can’t sing or play an instrument to save my life! The only thing I’d be doing is making sure the songs are similar to what I imagined originally so they’d fit the scenes they’re in.
I’ve tried looking up information on who the singers were in the Disney chorus, but I can never find any information. I’d like to know if any of them were in other groups or musicals or projects.
In a couple Disney films they're credited as "Jud Conlon Chorus"; they had several albums as the "Rhythmaires". You can read about it a little here ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judd_Conlon ) and get a list of albums of theirs here ( www.discogs.com/artist/942304-The-Jud-Conlon-Rhythmaires ) If you listen to their stuff, as you'd imagine, it sounds just like they did in the Disney movies ( ua-cam.com/video/oZptzQqORgI/v-deo.html )
Oh people of this comment section I require your assistance! Could anyone be so kind as to tell me where one could find anything or anyone similar to this style of "disney choirus"? I've personaly only found one short song made by Jack stuber named "We see you, Opal" which gives of a similar felling as these old disney songs!
Ah I've listened to the band quite a few times! I love the uniqeness of it, though when it comes to "disny choiruses" it ain't really there. I'd say it's too electronic which looses this old nostalgic feeling
Nowadays Disney ain't magical like this anymore. Disney is completely dead, everything turned woke, it's not family friendly anymore. No more talent, no more creative, no more passion, no more imaginative thinkers, it's all about destroying the nostalgia amazing stuffs from the past by copy and past them and destroyed them.

Well done! Those old Disney tunes are the best ones.
Forget the new ones. They are not even fit for adults let alone for kids.
I miss them
There’s just something so Magically Whimsical and dream-like about the chorus. Both Beautiful and Nostalgic. Wish they brought it back.
These songs have an incredible capacity to take me back. I look back at being a kid and watching these movies with my mom when I hear them now, but on top of this, even as a kid, they always gave me a weird sense of longing for the simpler time in which my parents grew up.
The vocalizations were always so dang pretty
Disney movies took you on a roller coaster of emotions . You think maybe would be nice to get back to the basics .
The Jud Conlon choir was soooooo good. Why can't Disney bring back this kind of magic instead of always keeping up with what's TrEnDy?

Wonderful music from musicals that are long gone, but will live on in our hearts. Thank you for posting this!
When Disney was uplifting and inspiring to children. A different time, a different world.
Am I weird or do you suddenly get sleepy af while listening to this?
I also want to cry for some reason lol
nah i feel the exact same way
The warmth of the recordings and the closeness of those vocal harmonies are a treasure to behold.
peter pan’s chorus has always been my favorite
I gotta give it to lady & the tramp
Peter Pans “Peter?”
Absolutely :). For me, especially the bit at 11:30
I always love this choir. Disney should bring this back for a new generation.
As we all know, The Little Mermaid launched the Disney Renaissance and one of the things that movie did to recapture that classic feel was to bring back the Disney chorus for its finale!
The difference between this era of Disney and modern Disney is just hilarious
Perfect play list that i was looking for
SAME
The best sound of winter ❄️️🌬
❤️ love this! The second star from the right (Peter pan) has always been my favorite.
They kinda brought it back in Once Upon a Studio. Some of the Renaissance films ended on a similar choir.

@@prismopatterson ahh I see, I really hope you can pull that off I’d love to see that sometime, I wish you good luck with all that
@@bigchungas4728 Thanks!
The opening songs for Alice in wonderland and Peter Pan were my favorites
Thank you for that memory I just loved it. Such happy memories of our parents when they would bring us to Disneyland every summer. 😅❤
Wonderful world of Disney on sundays .
Every summer? I've only got to Disney twice first when I was 2 then when I was 6 I graduated high school this year! You're so lucky
I just want all the pretty Oooh's and Aaaah's, how does one find those vocalizations?
4:11 we're about to witness a miracle
I rarely say anything, but I come here and watch two videos a week. They are so nice, and done so well. Be good, be safe !!
Peter Pan is my favorite.

The Mellomen were typically a part of it.

Makes me feel like I’ve lost something. Like something is just gone.
Youre god sent thank you so so much for making this 😭😭😭😭
If I make an animated movie someday, the intro will be sing by a chorus like in good old Disney movies, the best ones ♥️♥️♥️
If Disney now have a movie that using the old Disney style. I’ll definitely watch it
4:15 I'm gonna go cry now
Back when I have no worries other than how many more hours I can stay awake when watching movies.
I nearly cried watching the Bambi one
You missed sleeping beauty, that had a choir
Did all The Disney Studio Chorus singers used work freelance or contract for The Walt Disney Company?
Mi papá siempre me cantaba la canción de la cenicienta y yo ya lo había olvidado 😭😭 hasta hoy que vi este video lo recordé 💔
The only problem is that sometimes you can't really make out what they're saying, because of the bad sound mixing of the 1940s
the low quality of the microphones adds a certain charm though
4:18 I almost cried
Classic

Its a bit modern and very different genre, but the song The Mind Electric could be something like what you want?

Oh also intrestingly both the beginning and the end of the mind electric does give off that "disney choirus" vibe (Just excluding the electric filter)
I think this is similar. Recorded in the same era. More sombre but maybe it's what you're looking for ua-cam.com/video/BbBtvPYBwf8/v-deo.html
Yhea that's more like it! Just feeling like there may be a bit too much echo and that the voices are a bit har to hear, otherwise it's like 85% there
❤
May someone make a song list of this?😂😂🙏🏻
Was the chorus for Sleeping Beauty not the original?
8:33 how I feel when my bills wipe out my paycheck
There is absolutely no sound like a choir singing the chorus.
Pinocchio
Bambi
Cinderella
Alice in Wonderland
Peter Pan
Lady and the Tramp
11:39
WHY CUTTING BAMBI CHORUS

everything turned "woke" and not family friendly? make up your mind lmao
@@BDSbowlingDisney's more focused on agenda than telling good stories anymore. Stories that take us away into a dream. Like these original films
