Eye agates are my favorite and not that easy to find in the area you were in so well done I think I’ve only found 3-4 eye agates and they were all carnelian from one area I lucked upon great find congrats that’s the great thing about rocks you never know what’s inside them. Thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
They just look a little dry to me typical of rockhounds and working men. Been there have those especially after a couple days of picking up rocks with dirt on them or working on a dusty job site. Or having them wet then dry quickly repeatedly by cutting rocks or sorting them out of polishing media.
@@48thstateprospecting I have to take your word for it. I've worked construction past 30 years. I've had callous on top of callouses never had the cracking. Just didn't look right to me. Maybe as I work with more polish I will encounter the cracks
@ I’ve worked concrete for the past 27 years and even with gloves my fingers dry out and crack especially if I prospect for a couple days in a row they don’t dry out as much as they used to now but I remember having to use Carmex on the bad spots back in the day it was the only thing that worked lol
Hi Mike, Pretty little agate! Great polish! Thumbs up! Jim
Very nice. Turned out beautifully!
That must’ve been a very pleasant surprise! 😊

That looks like fire agate to me.
Second. Well that's first loser. Still another great video my friend.
Buddy not sure what you had your fingers in but they need some help.

My dirty, dry hands make the rocks look all that much better by comparison. See, there's method to my madness.
@@MikesLapidaryFossils just stay healthy my friend. I've lots to learn yet. Want you around to teach.
