I don’t use it as a prepoo I just use it under gels and I’ve had a lot of success with that. Because it doesn’t say to rinse it out or anything. Especially under the gels that tend to be drying like Wetline my hair lasted more than 7 days. I really love this product it also gave my hair lots of definition just like it did yours. I hope you keep using it in different ways.

I have yet to be able to try this bc it hasn’t been in stock, but I LOVE the lightweight conditioner, Leave-in & the Styling Cream!!

Pattern does smell like some old school lotion. Maybe Vaseline brand. My stylist’s daughter says it smells like Nair. I liked the mousse so much that I decided to get the detangling nectar hoping to make my curls last longer. The key for me is to use lots of water with my products.
Hey Mo! Great to see you back. I haven't tried that prepoo but I have the Pattern Beauty Styling Cream & Leave-in Conditioner that I need to try. I have heard the transition mask is a huge favorite. I do want to see you try the mousse for a rod set.

Pattern’s treatment mask is excellent and the scalp serum as well. The mask does have an earthy smell that some do not like.

I hate the smell of all Pattern products as well. I have the Nectar but glad that I’m able to wash it out
Yeah the smell is not my favorite. Have you smelled the palo santo leave in? I haven’t but heard it smells better than the other products!

This has become my go to leave-in for wash n gos. I don't see myself using this as my prepoo for several reasons......
Several people have said they use it as a leave in for wash n gos so I’m definitely trying that when I go back to wearing wash n gos in the spring!! Thank you for sharing!
I have the jumbo bottles in the shampoo and conditioner. I have the refresher spray which I really like. I don’t care for any of the styling products. I was glad I tried those in the travel size first.

Can you do a wash and go with it?
Depends on if you need a product with hold for your curls. I require a lot of hold for my hair so I wouldn’t use this for a wash n go.
Hey, I like the hydrating shampoo and leave in, I did not care for the rinse out conditioners and I have not tried any of the treatment masks💋

I have the Pattern mousse and it was just okay. I could’ve easily used a different mousse that was already in my stash. I’ve only used it once so I’m willing to try again before I decide to give it away. It wasn’t terrible or even bad, it was average to me. I used it on a twist out but I’m curious to see how it works for you.
This is my experience with the mousse as well, it’s very average. The price is very above average, so I’m not planning to repurchase. Fortunately I bought the travel size, which I wish more brands would offer to test out products.

Hi 👋🏾 so I find that applying the mousse to soaking wet hair and smoothing the product down the hair shaft works best. My curls are lush. Holla back if you try it this way.

Hey sis, I totally agree with you about being on the fence on using Pattern Beauty (and I'm still on the fence 😁). Too many mixed reviews and it cost a pretty penny. The product worked in your hair really really well but like you said you can find a cheaper product that works just the same like curl peace and African pride so I'm with you on that aspect. Thanks for sharing 💖
